Alright. Question for the group... If you could get one book signed by J Scott, what book would it be?

For collection or to resell?
Collection, the one you like the most.
Resell, the highest valued you have.

It WOULD have been my UXM 510 but I just got it back from CGC, LOL. I have a ton of his stuff, just wanting to see what's prevalent out there as far as having signed. I don't see myself selling it in the foreseeable future, but maybe one day...

Oh heck yeah! He's a DART ride away. I'm already planning on taking my son and spending 3 days down there meeting as many of these guys as I can.

There are only 6 9.8s on the census I believe. Can take a year or more before another 9.8 pops up again.

I'm on the same boat..one book? It would be the 510 but I personally like the color over the sketch, you get more bang for your buck.. $6000? they better color the whole damn cover in! ..kidding but I do like the color variant more.

It's a nice book and I see that it's rare. I would consider it but my only problem is living in Canada means the duty on it is going to be a nightmare and I'd be so worried about getting it in one piece.

Walk and skip over the border, then buy the book. Problem solved!

I just can't fathom spending $5k on a print, rare comic form or not. At the end of the day, it's a manufactured rare modern comic. I'll take OA over that every time.

I'm not sure I think it's an estimation based on the value of the item. If it's marked as a gift I think they let it go for cheaper items but if it's going to mean hundreds of dollars marking it as a gift wont help.

I wish it were that easy lol. When you go back they ask you if you bought anything. If you lie then it's not fun I've had friends who were on the wrong end of that one.

I won't spend 5k either. I didn't spend nowhere close to my copy.

People don't have to buy it if they don't want to. i never preach the "what I collect is better than what you collect" mentality. There are OA collectors and there are variant collectors who do like rarity. Manufactured or not.

Here's a ebay store listing and store that is selling this comic for about $22. Campbell did mentioned that he is trying to get these in his store soon too.
