My Quest for a COMPLETE Run of Iron Man

Well, a new year's resolution of sorts was to start moving my collection away from a heavy emphasis on modern titles and take on a silver/copper run. As a WWII enthusiast and history teacher, the easy choice would be Captain America or even Our Army at War, but I decided to go in a different direction. I really enjoy the style of Iron Man, so that was where I decided to go!

I'll be updating this thread for a couple of reasons:
1. To highlight a major addition by numbers
2. To showcase a cover from issues 1-50
or
3. To remind folks I'm looking for issues

So, to start, I'd like to thank Indy for providing a HUGE jumping off point in my collection centerpiece. Thx to his sale in January I have begun my quest with around 80 issues in hand, and I'll be taking the rest of his Iron Man inventory in two more chunks. Until then I will NOT post what I have or need!

And since that bulk purchase I managed to acquire these beauties from the "First 50", along with an additional Iron man cover:

Looking forward to this quest and sharing my progress with fellow junkies!

As soon as I get my hands on a 9.8 .... you can have this one at what I paid for (will forward receipt).

Still working on #55 at 9.8 .... Had opportunities to pick up some 9.6s at reasonable --- but since I set my "spurt of the moment" goal with 9.8, I guess I will have to stick with that for a bit.

Oh that Iron Man 2 is pretty awesome. If nobody expresses interest by the time you get your 9.8, I'd be interested.

Marino that #2 is a beauty!

My goal is to get "reader" copies of everything first. Then, a slabbed #1 and so on.
So it would def be awhile (unless I somehow won some powerball $ last week that I'm unaware of) before I start adding additional slabs.
