This might be the worst product ever. Unless consumers end up paying significantly more for the singles because they came out of a 6000 dollar box. Product literally makes no sense.

Hobby is tough to watch now. I'm not sure how it got to this point but I warned back with Exquisite that they will keep pushing the high water mark until it collapsed and run away without saying goodbye. The Bird will get 1-1.5k but will eventually be worth 6-800. It's happening over and over and you really can't blame a company for taking advantage of someone holding money-burning ceremonies every time they see something new & shiny. That's good business.

The cards look nice but the box/cases are extremely overpriced. They will sell because those who can absorb the cost will and make the max amount at release. Mostly card/comic shops who can hide the losses.

I think this product is pretty much doomed from the start. It has no identity!

It will compete with Flawless, with its similar gimmicky cards (stones vs metals). Look at where those diamond cards are at right now after 3 years of Flawless.

This Eminence stuff has the same foil shapes and finishes from Flawless, paired with some Noir black backgrounds and Spectra Gold type Jumbo square patches. Its just a bunch of other products combined into one.

For me it leaves only Immaculate as a truelly nice distinct product with its own identity.

Looks like his other 3 cards are a Jabari, AD, and Milsap. Don't know what how much those 3 are worth but no sure all 8 cards will get that much back from the original $6k.

Well seeing as how the average NT case yields $300-500 in return value (unless you hit a major card like a logoman or RPA) that's roughly 17%-28%. I saw the same if not worse return on Noir. So wouldn't you consider a 25% return on Eminence as expected? I'm not sure why everyone is expecting these breaks to pull 50% or greater unless you hit a major card. For crying out loud they inserted Wes Unseld autos into the product!?!?!

I'm guessing you're keeping the Jabari RC and AD for now. As for the Millsap, is it an all star patch piece therefore you're keeping it also?

It's because you're the first one on the market. Happens with every release and initial prices. Good on you for cashing in fast, but the sentiment won't be the same for guys busting and listing this stuff one or two weeks from now.

Topps loads up the Asian versions of their products and apparently Panini does the opposite? Sounds like a win win for the card companies and a screw job for their customers.

That card is Gorgeous, would love to have it but it appears it is heading toward the G range, Damn! Can't wait to see some of this cracked, going to be another fun week in the hobby! Oh did I post this in the wrong section or is this just for negative thoughts? LOL

The only reason you're getting good offers is because you have them listed so quickly. First few cards listed on eBay. You know this, because you do this with every product you open. The same unfair advantage that Asian breakers get for every product.

Generally speaking, I'm interested to see how many relists we see from eBay sales of singles for this product. I can see many auctions being shilled by the sellers. I can also see many auctions being shilled by bidders with no intent to pay, possibly to price-fix their own singles. This set is the most overrated and overpriced set in the history of sportscards. With that said, you can be sure that people who buy into this are going to try to protect their investment as much as possible, because if the secondary market truly depicted value ... we shouldn't see much activity over $500 with the exception of some of the top hits.

Beware when bidding or estimating values when using eBay auctions for this stuff, it will be manipulated like nothing we've seen before!
