No one is dissing Aqua 8's and if they are then they are morons. Resellers are mad and there was no hype so no hypebeasts, so true retro fans can enjoy like you said. Limited Releases bring out hypebeasts and resellers. But the fact is this is a shoe for true retro fans, in actuality the 8's never did well back in the day, I mean the Chrome 8's went to sale racks hahaha. It's definitively not a favorite like the 3,4, or 5, I mean even the 1 wasn't all that favored when Nike was pumping out as many colorways of the 1 as they were doing AF1 at one point hahaha.

• I'm probably going off of your point but just wanted to say what I thought of today's culture. What makes yeezys so sought after is what it's worth in the after market. A lot of people just wear shoes to stunt. Like "hey I got these, you don't cause you can't afford it". Man I remember some kid saying that to someone at a sneark event, I just wanted to smack him lol. But it is what it is.
But back to what we're talking bout, if there is someone to constantly move shoes like Jordan's OVER TIME, then Kanye is that someone. Yes he's been doing it since his shoes with Nike, but we'll see how long it'll last. I think the hype will be there 5 years from now, but till then, just can't see the yeezy jumping over the jumpan, imo.

• And another thing, under armour has been jumping over adidas and they're going in hot, but can any of you ever see people(Not GSW fans)wearing their shoes with that Under Armour Logo as a casual fit? I myself can't, just want to hear your opinion. Would you wear Some steph curry to the club?

I wouldn't wear Nike/Jordans to the club let alone Currys. If you're local "club" let's you in with athletic footwear then chances are it's some hangout for bums and hoodrats. Designer sneakers like Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, etc are acceptable.

While I don't always see eye to eye with shindo03, I agree with most of what he said.

You should probably be able to cop a pair as the only 29s that have had a big hype train behind it were the photo's.

I've never really looked into this thread, but it was definitely worth it. I spent a couple of hours reading through here, and it was worth it. LOVE the kicks; keep this alive, people.

I've never collected shoes, nor have I ever really had too many great shoes. We buy Jordan's for our kids a couple of times a year, but tbh, I've had the same pair of J's for 3 or so years, lol.

It's funny seeing the resellers on eBay listing their Maroon 6's for $260-270 shipped.

After all the fees and shipping they are either breaking even or losing money.

What's the point? You're just handing money over to eBay and Paypal when a person that actually wanted the shoes could have bought them at the retailer instead of you.

Maroons still sitting at NDC. So much for the Nike Air making it a big deal. I passed on them because all white 6 isn't my thing... I prefer the black models like last year's black/infrared.

Patiently waiting for the Alternate 4s in a month.
