First, what's different? There are a few major changes compared to the past player auctions:

1. Minimum bid increments. Once a spot reaches $500, bid increments become $10 (vs $5).
2. For the final 60 seconds of bidding, minimum bid increments are no longer in play. Because you will not be able to track the bids in the last 60 seconds (let alone any snipes), you will have no way of knowing what the final bid increment may be. Therefore, the highest bid wins. Ties go to the first post made.
3. THERE WILL BE NO EXTRA HOUR OF BIDDING. This break is guaranateed.
4. Paper prospects will be sold separately. PM houdini with an offer if you are interested in 10 jumbo cases of paper base.


Welcome to Blowout's 10 Jumbo Case 2015 Bowman Draft Baseball player auction.

What is a player auction?

Well, a player auction is very similar to a player draft break - except you bid on the spots that you want similar to any auction online. The few differences are: 1. forum posts are used to bid and 2. the bidding deadline is usually not set until the auction has reached (or nearly reached) the break even point.

We understand that player auctions are not for everyone - so please feel free not to join.

For your bids to count, you MUST include the card # and name where applicable. I might not allow a bid without these.

Bids are in $2.00 minimum increments until the spot reaches $20.00 and then $5.00 minimum increments after $20.00. Once a spot reaches $500, bid increments become $10. Please, whole dollar bids only (no $5.01 bids). Please no +5 bids. (Because someone could bid $100 at the same time and therefore your bid becomes +105?) You can bid more than $2/$5/$10, but that is the minimum.

Any bid made with change ($5.86, $100.99, etc) will be rounded to the next whole dollar - however, in the final seconds a $99.99 bid will lose to a $100 bid even though the $99.99 is rounded up to $100. Please only make whole dollar bids.

There is a minimum bid set for each spot already. Bids are in $2.00, $5.00, or $10.00 minimum increments. You may certainly bid more than the minimum.

Shipping - Shipping is extra, but we will do our best to charge you actual shipping. We will combine shipping based on your final lots as well. We can ship approximately 500 cards for $5.70 priority mail. If your total exceeds $250, we need to add $2.35 for signature confirmation. We can ship approximately 1000 cards for $12.00 medium flat rate.

Supplies - Approximately $2 per spot. Supplies are extra.

Paypal Fees - $0.30 plus 2.9% for US. $0.40 plus 3.9% international.

Warning - If you pick an auto, you may get nothing. If that player has 10 autos, you get all 10; if that player gets 0 autos, you get 0. Same is true for all other spots.

Sniping - If you wait until the last minute, you may miss out. Fair warning.

Bidding - Please understand that you must include the card # where applicable. Bids without the card # may not count. Please do not edit your post though. If you made a mistake, simply post again with the correction. Please bid in at least the minimum increment ($2.00 or $5.00 once a spot reaches $20.00 or $10.00 once a spot reaches $500). You may not retract your bid unless it is an obvious error (like a $4000 bid instead of $40.00).

Payment - Once bidding is completed, we will send a pm with your total (bids plus shipping/supplies) and instructions.

What comes with each spot?

Chrome Prospect Autographs: You get every prospect auto for that spot including all parallels & plates. It does not include insert autos of any kind. Wave autos are included.

Chrome Player Lots: You get every card for that spot including all parallels & chrome plates (not paper printing plates though). It does not include inserts of any kind. Photo variations are included if any. Wave ref are included.

Colored Paper: If you win the corresponding slot, you get every card (prospect/RC/vet) from this parallel.

Paper Base: Sold separately.

Insert Lots: You get every parallel and auto (if listed) for your insert lot.

Wave Autos and Ref: Autos go to the player's auto spot and non-auto go to the player's non-auto spot.

Unannounced cards, hits, parallels: If there is an unannounced color in the auto or non-autoed chrome spots, they will go to the player lots (auto or non). If there is a whole insert set, it will be added to the auction. Anything like the pink set redemption cards or player draft day caps from Bowman Chrome will be decided on an individual basis. Remember, you get what you are bidding on only. If you have a question about what is or is not included, ask - blind assumptions will not be honored. If we hit an ultimate book auto or golden ticket, we will deal with it separately.

1. If you hit a card worth $1000 or more, we will ask you to pay for Express Mail shipping & insurance.

2. As ALWAYS, the host reserves the right to limit who is allowed in the break.

3. If you join this break, you must be willing to pay within 24 hours.

4. If you join this break, you must subscribe to this thread. It makes life SO MUCH EASIER.

5. The host DOES have a spot. If this bothers you in any way, please do not join. All breaks are done LIVE and recorded.

6. Once you receive your cards, please post in the thread that your cards were received. For anything outside the USA, we will provide the customs # as proof of delivery.

7. If a pull wins this monthly "best pulls" contest on BO, the prize will be a yours.

8. We strongly encourage you to bid what you are willing to pay. That way, if you are outbid at the last minute, it won't matter since you bid what you were willing to pay.

9. International bidders are fine, but International shipping with tracking is expensive and will be included.

Yeah, it is like that where some will be double and some will be half.

I should have started with a 10 caser and then ran a 20 or more based on that.
