When it comes to value, ugly photography and design will always take a back seat to the player being depicted on the card.

Learn to live with it.

You made this up. Good try tho.

One of the other posters had it right, 3 variations and there are 20 of each

I don't mind the design of the card so much, but Harper looks like a Richard Container with that haircut.

Instead of waiting for the first 2011 Topps product to release, the card giant decided to start the festivities early by seeding Bryce Harper's 60th Anniversary Autographed cards into 2010 Bowman Sterling. Harper signed a total of 60 anniversary autos for Sterling. Each auto will feature one of the following three inscriptions:

“Happy 60th Topps”
“Happy 60th”
“Happy Birthday Topps”

This - correct, 20 per inscription, 60 total; however, I was under the impression it was spread over the ENTIRE 2011 releases from Topps, not only from 3 releases. Anyone know?

The Harper is only available in Bowman Sterling. The card actually looks very sharp in person. The silver ink pops off the black background.

It was pulled by a friend who doesn't use Ebay.I sold it for em and they were pretty happy with the price I thought the one up for auction that ended today would go a bit higher then it ended. $690 seems like a steal. Whoever snuck in and sold the other one for 1081 must be smiling.

Since the AFLACs have been going for around $600 my initial guess was around $800-$1000 especially given that one at auction was sitting at $620 for 2 plus days.

i don't know

690 is a lot of money. but he does not have many autos.

over the next 2 years topps will flood the market with autos..

Not sure if these first few he has will hold value or not?

I believe AFLACS of anyone will always hold value, they are cards made of high schoolers at the time, thus being the first card of many players...that harper 60, i just dont know
