500 HRs seems to be a shoo-in given he stays healthy. The question is can he get to 600 or even threaten Ruth's all time Yankee record of 659?

Judge has proven for a long period of time how great he is and yet a lot of people think Witt will win MVP because he had a good 2024 season, for that to take place Witt needs to redo 2024 and Judge needs to do a tad less and honestly I don’t see that happening.

Witt is the new "chosen one" by both the MLB media and the hobbyists. No one told this to Judge. Or maybe they did and now he's saying, "yea, I don't think so".

Don't get me wrong. Witt is going to be a great player for years to come. But Judge is still GREAT. And Witt's great doesn't stand up against Judge's great

Unlikely, including this year he has 7 years left and would need to avg about 50hr a year.

That's really interesting, have a feeling this is going to revolutionize the game and you will see more batters following suit probably this year, wonder if pitchers are going to adjust and never throw anything down the middle anymore

Thought after 16 that Miggy was a shoe in for 600 but barely made 500. Trout looked like a 600 guy who has a great physique is struggling to arrive at 400. Judge takes care of his body that Miggy didn’t or that Trout IMO has overdone, 240 lbs at his frame ?

You can't compare players - everyone is totally unique. David Ortiz hit 275 HRs from age 32 season onwards and Jim Thome hit 324 HRs from age 32 season onwards. Judge is a better power hitter than any of these guys and in better shape.
