"The Natural" Robert Redford dies at age 89.
FYI: The Roy Hobbs prop baseball card seen on screen in The Natural is heavily faked and all over eBay. The real one as seen here does not have a printed back. Robert Redford died today at age 89.

That's tough. He was one the best ever. The Sting and Spy Game are two of my all time favorites. RIP Mr. Redford.

Yeah, I just heard. I actually watched The Natural recently and it's still my all-time favorite sports movie. It's such a great baseball movie.

The Sting is my favorite movie of all time and we just saw it at the movie theater a couple weeks ago.
His other great films for me... Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid The Natural The Horse Whisperer All the President's Men |

Had a hell of a movie career that spanned several generations. He was a pretty good baseball player, too, according to the director of the Natural.
