FYI: The Roy Hobbs prop baseball card seen on screen in [I]The Natural[/I] is heavily faked and all over eBay. The real one as seen here does not have a printed back. Robert Redford died today at age 89.

That's tough. He was one the best ever. The Sting and Spy Game are two of my all time favorites. RIP Mr. Redford.

Damn what a rough year for those of us that grew up with celebrities from his era. RIP

Yeah, I just heard. I actually watched The Natural recently and it's still my all-time favorite sports movie. It's such a great baseball movie.

The Sting is my favorite movie of all time and we just saw it at the movie theater a couple weeks ago.

(It would not make a list of my favorite baseball movies at all.)

Had a hell of a movie career that spanned several generations. He was a pretty good baseball player, too, according to the director of the Natural.
