I could not agree with you more, and I think we see that with memorabilia right? An autographed random jersey vs. a non-autographed but game used jersey? Game used is worth way more right? Literally part of the NBA games we all love to watch. And I guess vets have a ton of game used jerseys out there but in theory they could sign thousands of cards a year every year for decades after retirement, but once they retire, the game used jerseys they have by that time are set in stone. I'm totally on board with you.

Cool card! Can you imagine Panini making a scarce, exciting to pull memorabilia set? Seems like an impossibility. I think it's the lowest type of card in terms of popularity so I don't see much of an impetus for them.
