Default Most underrated players so far this season?

I did one of these earlier in the yearm but I figured we would update it. Im looking for the guys who arent on ESPN every day, but are still putting together great seasons. The guys who if you went up to a casual fan and asked what team they played for, they wouldnt know.

Ill start with one from the Cubs

Cody Ransom .277 AVG(as a Cub) .347 OBP .631 SLG .978 OPS 160 OPS+(all as a cub, not counting his short early season Padres stint)
6 HRs 12 RBIs in extremely limited playtime, as he only plays versus lefties. Averaging more than 1 HR per 11 at bats.

Please posts stats so I may include your selections in the OP.

How about a couple from the Rockies:

Michael Cuddyer
.339 AVG .397 OBP .603 SLG 1.000 OPS
10 HR 37 RBI 14 2B

I still think this guy is underrated and is putting together what could be his best season to date.

Troy Tulowitzki
.351 AVG .419 OBP .515 SLG 1.073 OPS
16 HR 51 RBI and he also has a .996 Fielding percentage.

Salvador Perez
47 Games
.320 AVG
.344 OBP
.424 SLG
.769 OPS
20 RBI

Lorenzo Cain and Alex Gordon are also doing pretty good. James Shields W/L doesn't really reflect how well he's pitched this year either.

I'll throw 2 guys out there:

Josh Donaldson 3B for the A's
hitting .324 with 9HR and 42RBI and 18 doubles

Jose Altuve 2B Astros
hitting .296 25 runs and 9 sb's on an awful team at the age of 23.
Would have alot more runs if he played on a halfway decent team

David Lough is better than Cain and Frenchy but will probably get sent back down to the minors when Dyson gets back which I will never understand.

I am surprised the Cubs fan didn't go with Travis Wood, he's doing great so far, no one seems to notice. The win-loss record doesn't justify how well he has pitched.

Also; Brett Cecil, RP, Blue Jays

he has been filthy, reborn in the pen, among the top 10 relievers this year.

I forgot about both wood and Feldman, both have sub 3 eras plus wood has a .290 average with 2 homers.

Jeff Locke has been doing good for my Buccos I would say.

5-1 record
2.39 ERA
1.21 WHIP

Not a bad stat sheet for a Pirate pitcher.

Lol... You again. Whatever. All the players listed in this thread are underrated, which is what I asked, not who cares about what team. Plus the cubs are a top 5-10 team in terms of popularity.

This, this, this.

But yeah....Coors field guys will never get their proper due...for obvious reasons.

Well when you look at it even this year Troy's batting average at Coors is .100 higher than away from home

Honestly...I don't care about Coors or not. The guy puts up INCREDIBLY consistent power numbers for a SS.

I care. He's up tonight against the 'Stros at home. The M's 1-2 punch is one of the best in the Majors, but their 3-4-5 all belong in Double-A.

I was going to nominate Kyle Seager. I thoroughly enjoy watching him play.

Jhonny Peralta: .338/.382/.493 -- .417 BABIP
Alex Cobb: 2.39 ERA 1.06 WHIP .223 BAA

EDIT: I've apparently jinxed Cobb.
