New board member. Apologies for the crummy scans, the cards are in holders so they don't look the greatest. I'll try to take some photos that do the cards justice and minimize the surface defects from the plastic cases. There are a couple more scans in my bucket:

There's some hope in Believeland so now there are some cards in my house this season. I'm anxious to find a couple more 2010 Panini Plates & Patches before the 2011 cards come out. Also I'm trying to get some average examples of Topps Jim Brown cards from 1958 to 1963. This forum looks like a good hub for buying and getting info. I'm lookin' forward to the pearls of wisdom and hidden gems

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Colt. He's got a lot of potential, but it's hard to tell how far he'll take the team. Hopefully they keep him around for the next two years to really see how he develops with additional o-line protection and offensive weapons.

Hillis *sigh* I really enjoyed watching him run the ball last year, so the card is a nice memento from the 2010 season. I hope he hasn't burned his bridges in Cleveland and gets back to work in 2012. Each time he carried the ball it was exciting to watch.

Looks like a great start. I used to collect jim brown and otto graham.
I had arount 15 graham autos and 10 or so jim brown auto.
you can pick up a cheap on card auto of graham in the sports illustrated
set produced by fleer, also his 97 ud legends on card auto is way
undervalued. Also don't don't forget to pick up hofer lou groza.

I've seen a couple good ones, but I've got plenty of Hardesty cards given the season he's having. Good luck with the sale!

Man... what a let down yesterday. The team looked alright but there were a handful of mistakes that killed their game:

Colt running for 9.5 yards instead of 10 on 3rd down...
The defense giving up two 30 yard rushes to Cedric Benson...
Greg Little dropping passes...
Browns pass protection...
Colt throwing the interception...
Going for that 55 yard FG instead of punting...
Giving up a 50 yard reception to AJ Green in the 4th...
*sigh*

Hopefully they beat a couple division rivals and finish the season strong. With an offseason and a couple more good draft picks, we'll get there next year.

I think I've seen the SI card on ebay. When my wife turns her back it might end up in my collection =P

I collect the Browns also and have witnessed the "factory of sadness" that is currently Brown's football. Personally, I think Colt McCoy has "it" and will not be replaced next year. I am hoping our Brownies pick up a LB, RT, and WR in the draft next year. I think Hillis will end up staying with us. Check out my PC in my photobucket link below when you get a chance.

I need to plan a trip to Cleveland to see a Browns home game. The last time I saw them play out here they beat the Niners. Kelly Holcomb threw a TD to Andre Davis(it's been a while since I've seen a live game).

Colt McCoy has a good attitude, which makes him ok even through we are 4-7. I'm still curious what it's going to take to make the Browns work well on offense. RT? #1 WR? Offseason? Experience? Offensive Coordinator? New QB? More Hills? Greg Little has potential, but he isn't there yet. Colt McCoy feels like he's got the ability, but the offense just seems like too much of a mess to evaluate him this season. Maybe they have been just starting to click during the past couple games and will surprise Baltimore on Sunday.

You've got a lot of nice cards in your personal collection that I've been looking for: NT Paul Warfield, NT Bernie Kosar, NT Colt McCoy, the famous $15 Otto Graham mentioned earlier and both of the "material monikers" cards are sweet!

Thanks, I may shift toward looking for more vintage RCs given the current state of the team. Having a $15 Bobby Mitchell might be better than another Greg Little RPA.

1958 Topps #62 Jim Brown (PSA 4)

This was the card I wanted when I started collecting Browns cards again last year, but was too shy about investing so much money in one piece of cardboard. All of my ebay bucks earned from buying the other cards helped soften the blow, but it was well worth it now that I have it in hand I feel like I found a fairly good looking PSA 4 at a reasonable price. Someday when I have a serious excess of money(ha ha ha) maybe I'll upgrade.

I'm very excited about the Browns current direction, but will probably shift my collecting efforts toward finding some older graded cards during the offseason. Kosar, Newsome, Kelly, Warfield, Graham, Motley, etc.
