Default 2025 Series 2! Too Early To Talk About It??

We have some box art with the product showcasing Shohei Ohtani. But most of us are here for the RC's! Who'll be in it?? Will there be 10+ formats to Series 2 like Series 1?? We know a fan favorite is back with Black Parallels. That's about all we know so far.

Here's who should be in it as far as RC's of note go, but we know Topps can hold anyone back for the Update Series......

From September 1st to the 29th last season. There are many more debuts but much lower end RC's. You may consider these guys lower end as well but these guys had some prospect pedigree.

Luis Angel Acuna
Rocker
Sagasse
Jobe
K Alcantara
Yorke
Dustin Harris
Dana
Fitts

Debuting Day 1 in 2025

Shaw
Sasaki
Cam Smith
Max Muncy (A's)
Campbell
Roden
Drake Baldwin

I think that's it unless you guys know of more who should be on this list. How we feeling about Series 2 if these are the guys in it?? Going HAM on it or strictly singles??

Yes....

Especially given that we have zero info on 2025 Heritage, as well as several 2024 products which have yet to be released.

Flagship Series 2 shouldn't be out until after the All-Star Break.

I'm curious to see if they'll do more All Aces. I really want a Max Scherzer one and hope they do more, but the pickings for pitchers will be fairly slim for another series of them as Topps loaded Series 1 with the bulk of the hobby-friendly pitchers.

Series 2 is a June release correct? Chrome is an end of July release.

Should be /74. However, I have little faith Topps won't screw it up and make them /75.

It's not that we don't care, it's just way too early to talk about it.

They already screwed it up last year and made 2024 Update /74 instead of /73. So, would not be surprised at all if they are /75 this year.

Too much happening right now to worry about a summer release. The hobby, as well as society, has an attention span of a gnat. Only thing that matters is whats happening right now.

Some truth there for sure, but nothing wrong with talking/speculating about it. I'm interested to hear some thoughts on it.

Everyone seems excited for the Black Parallel returning. Doesn't everyone experience noticeable chipping on the edges of these cards? I guess you'd care about this for grading purposes. Wonder what the odds will be to pull a numbered Black parallel in 2025 Series 2??

No release date noted.

When does this usually hit the streets?

I don't get why they would want to release Series 2 so early.....at least wait until after the ASG.....or even better until after the season ends....then you wouldn't also need update!

That would certainly change which format I'd purchase. Where did you hear that would be the case as opposed to standard hobby boxes?
