I wouldn't have expected this to land so soon, if it is on time. The cards they put up as examples are sick though, especially that Taker-Hogan auto.

PRIZM BABAYYYYYYYY!

No wonder Chronicles is so cheap, this is coming right after to steal the spotlight, they either start cheap or likely discount when Prizm/Immaculate take interest

Also I know it's preview images, but half the photos used are from Mania, if they indeed use photos from there it's probably the fastest printing Panini has ever done if this drops on time lol

What's the deal with Panini/WWE anyway--I know the NFL is moving to Fanatics, and WWE was to do so by 2026. Then the lawsuit happened with some sort of agreement apparently as product is dropping like crazy now.

Variations possibly not one per Undercard box now? Typical Panini create a pretty good gimmick for once then kill it. Last Undercard boxes for WWE/UFC were pretty good with the one variation only found in Undercard, one auto, and a few numbered on average. Felt like a juice up H2 box, a true hobby-lite .

I'm never able to work up much enthusiasm for WWE Prizm, but the color blasts look very nice as always, and I love the inclusion of the black variant, which I believe is normally Obsidian-only; I wonder if one will be shorter printed than the other?

I also was a fan of the SP undercard name variation set that incorporated deep-cut throwback names and characters. Would really like to see that stick around.

Panini wants to destroy everyone's wallets with these back to back to back to back releases

I guess the question is whether this is going to be the last Panini WWE release. I haven't heard anything about a 2024 Select set

There's a chance they might still be one per box but it was not noted as one of the per-box guarantees this time around.

This is the first 2024 reveal. I'd bet plenty more to come. I doubt they'd let them start a new year late if they were done done.

I still say that the majority of the Color Blasts look like the wrestler is farting/crop dusting rainbows...

Right now they have three announced sale dates of pending releases, if I'd guess they will wait until 2023 is done before announcing more 2024. Wrestlers are signing again for them (for the most part) and if one 2024 product is coming out I think its safer to assume we'll get the usual 2024 release schedule. Next question will be if this is the last Prizm or if they'll have the license until the end of the 2025 season.

Panini is a few months behind (like, prizm was April last year, immaculate was january/Feb if I'm not mistaken?), so the 2024 floodgates are likely gonna open up now that prizm has a release date, select 24 is probably gonna be a fall release if we're following the same timeline

The good news (if any) about this is if they really all release in succession this could cause Immaculate to become affordable a lot quicker. If the lower-end collectors flock to Chronicles and IF a strong IF but it's the first 2024 set so IF they have Jade/Punk/Both autos I see the breakers and hypebois flocking to Prizm, leaving a nice window for Immaculate 2023 to be discounted as it may not have the same focus Impeccable did with people thinking that could be the last set ever and even that didn't garner much attention.

It's surprising you wouldn't use Jade/Punk in promo materials though so who knows.

Just for clarification, if people flock to Prizm wouldn't they raise the price on Immaculate as demand would show as being up?

I don't always agree with our pal but I think he is right here. If 2024 has hot new rookies, Punk, Jade, etc. to go along with the Prizm name I think the prices on the 2023 cards will go down as everyone runs to buy Prizm. Its not like there will be a shortage, Panini will over-print Prizm like they always do, and I think social media etc. will be more focused on the 2024 product which will lessen the excitement for the late 2023 products.

I am surprised they are releasing sets so close together (on paper, three sets in a 30 day-ish period, unless Prizm is delayed). Chronicles will have a few weeks to breath but it may hurt its immediate value too with Immaculate and Prizm coming so soon after.

No as it is still 2023 and wouldn't have Jade/Punk, next year if they are in it, definitely expect an increase. Even if you bring up sticker autos, the Gold/Blacks/ etc Prizms of Punk/Jade will be big.

I think people are missing this is the FIRST 2024 set, everything else is still 2023

I get the possible inclusion of Jade being a big draw here, but is Punk really moving the needle in terms of excitement for this set? He has a deep well of WWE cards/autos already in circulation from his first run, and the injury has made him kind of irrelevant these last few months.

So did Cody and I'd still argue his "return to WWE" cards and autos were some of the top chases in products that year. Also similar situation where he lost some momentum between injury/not winning the title the first time. It also is just about having a new pretty huge superstar on the checklist, if Stone Cold for example was in Topps sets then was even in Chronicles/Select/Immaculate etc for Panini but only didn't have a Prizm then gets his first Prizm I think that would draw excitement too.

Should be good. I hope my girl Naomi is back in the set but I doubt it.
