Default 2024 Vintage Pickups Thread

Started the New Year off with the card that has the lowest pop report (PSA and SGC combined) of any T206 Hall of Famer card - the Blue Background Johnny Evers! Love this image and the eye appeal on this one for a 1.5

Two pickups from a local show yesterday I’m pretty happy about:

Love that BG! I’ve got an Ernie Banks and a few PeeWee’s coming my way I’m excited about!

it's not a football card, but it's vintage, and unique, and rare.

an autographed index card of Bronko Nagurski and Red Grange. my first purchase of 2024. very happy with it.

I just looked up asking prices for Demmitt St. Louis. Wow, that card shot up. I need to send mine in.

Picked up a giant on my want list early this year. 1935 Der Stumme Film card of the first vampire movie, Nosferatu. Never seen an actual selling price of this card, but also haven't seen a listing below $1K in any grade (highest in PSA's database is 5.5). I got mine in a packaged "set" of these film cards for $17.50.

Had never owned an E91 before, I must say they are a great looking card in hand - colors really pop

Checked a relatively tough Hall of Famer off the list with this addition!

Some highlights from a recent PSA submission. Most of the Aarons are headed to my PC to flesh out my Topps run. A few dupes will be for sale.

Really thrilled with the Venezuela in particular. Never seen a nicer copy.

I bought a condo and haven't added any cards since the National. Finally dipped my toe back in the water with these two. I was very excited about the Campy.

Great looking Aaron pick ups.
I'm especially fond of the 64's. I have a Hank/Mays copy but not the solo Hank 64. Wish I had of grabbed one a few or more years ago now.

Thank you sir! The Mays/Aaron is one of my favorite cards. The 64's have such a clean, simple design.

I don't do much vintage, but I picked up some Fleer Greats in a trade.
Nice color on these:
