2022 Finest Star Wars Case break--proof the universe is weird

Purchased a case from Blowout's black Friday sales, does not quite have that factory fresh look

This was inside the outer shipping box, well protected by padding.
It only bugs me a little that it is sold as a sealed case as opposed to "A lot of 8 boxes packed into a Topps case"

Bought to bust regardless so the wife and I took to task. TNT's Star Wars weekend is rolling and Rogue One was on in the background. Not sure if Topps has some sort of "Minority Report" style basement but....

We were cracking up, almost expected to pull a Felicity Jones Auto, to no avail.

Here is the case breakdown overall:

The only sketch card, at 1:36 this leads me to believe this case was open and repacked and some point:

My guess is there was an open case with a few boxes gone and whomever packed my order just grabbed a couple randos and tossed them in? Bummed about just one sketch card but overall a nice case with 2 Galactic Heroes, a Red /5 and Black /10, and lots of Gold /50.

Most Finest cases came with one sketch or zero sketches per case. Your pulss are about average (maybe even higher than average with all the low # cards and Temeura Auto).

The pack odds are wrong, as they have been with Topps Star Wars products in 2022

I knew The Book Of Boba Fett was jacked up sketch wise, but did not realize it was prevalent for Finest also. We got 2 sketches in our previous case and figured we didn't get the odds fall our way...

If you sort all the base curious to see how that goes. Opened four cases in total and could only make one set per case with a second case 4 or 5 cards short.

The odd thing is that with all the extras from all four cases I was missing all the same cards. Out of the 100 card base set I have 12 partial sets missing the exact same 50 cards.

I thought it was odd to get only one set from my first case but did not dig into it.

After collating this second case, I ended up getting just one complete set again and 4 cards short of a second set. I happened to have the four cards needed from the first case, but there was only 1 copy of each left over. That leaves me with 7-8 copies of quite a few cards while missing a large chunk of the set overall.
