Default 2021 Panini Prizm NFL

The FOTL are dropping next week. Any buzz on what price people are looking at? It’s a Dutch auction but not online exclusive so dealers will already have theirs at a set price.

Blowout is currently on "sale" for $1,599.95 pre-order Hobby so FOTL will be gone at or around that price. It's pretty much a guarantee anymore that FOTL is sold or pulled near the preorder pricing for hobby.

Yeah I’ve noticed that trend as well.

Football prizm sales aren't as strong as NBA. I don't know how you justify NBA prices for a NFL release. NBA golds outsell NFL golds easily. By 2x or more.

It's $50 per team for 30 degenerate gamblers each for the chance at a "million-dollar card", so the product will sell out no matter what.

Those boxes that don't get group broken are sat on because they will be "million-dollar boxes" in the future.

It's $1600-1700 at big 3 only because it's been delayed so many times. Actual preorder price, prior to original March date, was close to 1k. Anyone preordering hobby now is late to the game so stores charging a whopping premium on top of already inflated price which drags FOTL along with it

its going to be a bloodbath this year. Wax prices are falling precipitously. Anyone that preorders prizm at current prices, RIP to your $

You mean falling soon after release, older boxes losing their value, or products at lower preorder prices than previous years? Each one of these cases is different and may not have much to do with a general market downturn.

The big dealers will start this at $1600 to test the waters.

If no one buys it the first two weeks, prices will fall, then you can buy in cheaper at $1000, or hopefully even less. The big guys are making a killing, ie tripling their money, even at $800/box.

You should’ve seen what they did with wwe prizm. Pumpers convinced everyone this was a $1300 hobby box. People fomo and paid the price. A month later it’s down to less than $700.

With some discipline and patience you can save money, unless you are some degenerate gambler- they are targeting you first.

In related news I saw Dave and Adams has NT hobby now at $4250. Only another $3000 tomorrow before I'd be a buyer

Checklist up. No surprises. Nice to see Ambry Thomas make the base RC cut.

Am I seeing things or does the checklist say card #134 is BROCK LESNAR?

Brock didn't play a single regular season game for the Vikings.

Now I'm wondering what other WWE guys are going to needlessly sneak into NFL products.

John Brown in the checklist for the Raiders... never played a game for them. Went on to sign with the Broncos, Jags and Bucs all in the 21-22 season.

FFS Panini, you had more than enough time to take him out.

16500 FOTL boxes would be a new record, and scarier than heck. You have to assume most of that won't be auctioned but on the small chance it was in this market FOTL would drop waaay under Hobby price.

An insert set filled with guys like Lesnar, Goldberg, Rock "The Dwayne" Johnson, and such would be fun. Even throw in guys like LT and Mongo. As part of the base set though? With upwards of 40 parallels? Next to actual NFL players? Ugh.

Do I correctly count 44 cards for the full rainbow? Just insane!

No doubt about it with that many boxes it would hit the floor or 1 drop above if all boxes are available during the auction. Which they won't be. I don't care though. No chance Im buying this anywhere near hobby presell.
