Throwing out the 1960's and older teams, back when you had flankers and split ends.
Of these players that were honored with being on an All Decade Team, yet never got into the Hall Of Fame, who (if any) do you think will eventually get in? 1970's, everyone on the 1st team All Decade is in, except: Kicker Garo Yepremian Kick Returner Rick Upchurch 1980's, everyone on the 1st team All Decade is in, except: Punter Sean Landeta Kick Returner Mike Nelms Punt Returner Billy "White Shoes" Johnson 1990's, everyone on the 1st team All Decade is in, except: Punter Darren Bennett Kick Returner Michael Bates 2000's, everyone on the 1st team All Decade, who was eligible for the hall by now is in, except: Fullback Lorenzo Neal Kick Returner Josh Cribbs Punt Returner Dante Hall I vote that if Hester gets in, White Shoes will follow. But everyone else is a good snub IMO |

It's always perplexing how the guy who had the most yards in the 90s, most kick return yards in NFL history, most Punt returns in NFL history, and 2nd all time in yards in NFL history can't even make the team.

I know blocking Fullbacks aren't sexy but wherever Neal went, the Running Backs did VERY well.

I didn't realize nearly all non special teams players are in. I don't see anybody on that list who should be in the hof. If you must pick one, Johnson maybe since he was kind of a pioneer as a returner. Token player for that position like Ray Guy.

Hester should get in eventually. Also Sean Landeta needs to be in if for only this credential alone:

Yeah, the Hall got caught up when they let Jimbo Covert & Leroy Butler in. Those were the 2 Non Special Teams players from their All Decade teams not in the HOF.
