Default Shrink wrap scam 2019 National Treasures??

Hello, I was looking for some advise. I had bought this box of 2019-20 National Treasures Basketball. Once I started to open it I noticed the shrink wrap looked funny. I then looked at pretty much every active ebay listing and youtube box break. I haven't seen a shrink wrap like this on any other box of NT.

Specifically every other box has a clean crisp black "Panini" print on the wrap. This wrap has a black halo around the image and in addition most are blurry looking. Has anyone seen a shrink wrap like this on a Panini product? I have also tried reaching out to Panini and am waiting to hear back from them.

Idk man, did you get it somewhere reputable?

It looks a little off I guess but I've seen legit shrink wrap that looks like that too so it really depends on where you got it from.

For context, this is what every other box I have looked at looks like. Just clean crisp black Panini.

Don't worry bro just take it as a learning experience. Last year I was Jason Kapono-ed chasing that Lebron Rookie. I just laughed it off and move forward. People will scam no matter what in theses times. Just have to be more carefull. 100% feedback doesn't mean that you want get scammed.

A $7000 learning experience? Now sure how what you're saying related to what OP is saying...

I'm just wondering if the other one was possibly stored in an area that was hot? That could explain why it looks like that which is why I think it's important where you bought it from.

If you bought it from a reputable dealer I wouldn't be as worried but if you bought it from some random dude on ebay or mercari or something I'd return it

He was an ebayer with a couple hundred mostly positive reviews. I tried to look more into the reviews, but they are all marked private and I can't see what he was selling. I could see the smudging being from the heat, but a generalized black line/halo toward the upper left just doesn't seem consistent with heat.

Yea, I'd just return it in that case

I don't mind taking the hit if it was a legit sale, but if its a scam I'd rather take it up with ebay for a resolution.

Usually guys that talk/act like you are the ones who don't actually have the funds they claim to.

You also sound and type a lot like a PBM from here.

Yes, real self-made people don't usually talk that way. Even a drug dealer who goes from rags to riches has more respect for money than this dude.

If I had to profile him, I'd say either:

A.) Totally made up persona.
or
B.) Rich parents who handed it all down. In this case the lack of respect for money and lack of empathy for how 90% of the country actually lives totally makes sense here.

I'll go with A. Someone in the B category doesn't say stuff like "chop it up bro, only 7k, move on."

People with real money certainly don't announce it randomly and out of context.

Only a scammer would make a comment like that.

Yup - the loudest guy in the room is usually the most overcompensating teddy bear

He's posting from his younger sisters phone in his mothers basement.

I'm going with made up persona, although spoiled kids usually have this hollow arrogance to them too, so either could be true
