Hey, do you have a good idea to store 200 cards in top loaders for air travel? I don't want to put them into checked bags but a carrying bag. My checked bag has been inspected twice because a dummy of cards was scanned as a black matter suspected as a bomb or something. It was better to open the box of the cards, put it on a security desk to show them what it is.
Anyway, I do have some cardboard boxes for them but am looking for somewhat better ones like clear, transparent ones. I found this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/154226331818 This vault looks okay but not ideal. That must be too tight if I add a separator between two rows. This one is not for the top loaders. https://www.amazon.com/KMC-Card-Box-1000/dp/B0007N7P8K This guy is not so durable. I had one but it was cracked. Also, a rid is easy to be opened in the bag. https://www.ultrapro.com/product_inf...roducts_id=770 Any good ones? |

These cases have adaptable foam on the inside and can be made to carry anything

Or you could just wrap them up in some bubble wrap.

Wrapping might work but I'm looking for solid cases/boxes for many travels.

Maybe a clear storage tub with plastic clasps that snap in place? I’ve seen them in Target, Walmart, and even home improvement stores. They may have a size that works.

Arkhive 400+ by Ultimate Guard
![]() Holds cards in toploads, sleeves, or deck boxes. Strong magnet closure, and you could use rubber bands around it if concerned about opening. Ed

Option 1, Warhammer army carrying trays in a case/bag of your choosing.
Option 2, go to your local gun store and buy a gun carrying case, they come in a gazillion sizes and even have a lock option.

I haven't seen Plano Molding boxes for cards in a while now, they're probably discontinued. |

regardless of what type of case or box you place the cards in, if they are all packed tightly together it will come out on the x-ray as a solid block. It will set of the alarm every time. the outer casing whether clear or not will not matter. If you ever go to a Nascar Race, they will have signs saying not to pack your Souvenir Programs in your checked luggage, because it will set off the alarm. They are thick, and come across as a solid block.
PS i work at an airport. So this is just information to help, for what its worth. Does this mean you will get stopped every time, probably not, this is the TSA we are talking about. If you put something like this in your checked bag it will get secondary search, and good chance not make your flight. |
