NE isn't exactly facing a murderer's row of QB's this year so far..

I'm nervous for Thursday.

Jags vs. Panths (battle of the feel good qb stories)
Bucs vs. Saints (semi intriguing divisional battle...both coming off upsets)
Cardinals Bengals : Dalton and company seem like the perfect recipe for Kyler's first breakout win performance

Pack Cowboys: can't call it

Browns 49ers: intriguing....but I think niners take their first L

Overall much better week than this week.

Browns win, Boo and Grid go radio silent on the Browns waiting in the depths of their basements for the Browns to lose again so they can come out of hiding.

Lots of great games, would love to see Kirk have a solid win @Giants, and see if Mariota and the Titans can get a home win vs. the bills.

The best will be the ultimate Brownie fan meltdown if the Steelers beat the Ravens at home Sunday and the Brownies lose to the 49ers. Guess who will be tied for first place LMAO?!?!?! Yes, the team everyone buried after Ben went down. But I'll hold my excitement for gameday and see what happens. It's a rivalry game so the Steelers winning with the backup QB isn't out of the question. Hell they almost won in Baltimore a few years back with Dennis Dixon lol. Time will tell.

It's not going to matter because there's no chance the Steelers are competing for the division at the end of the season. Be happy about your win against the 2nd worst team in the league lol

If they beat the Ravens that's great, just means the Browns have that much of a better chance at the division. The Browns just need to be about .500 going into week 8 and they have a cake walk 2nd half.

Lol..!! You have one good game all month long against a team that couldn’t have even beaten Miami last night and all of a sudden, you’re making plans for the playoffs. Lololol!!!!

Don't forget the Steelers beating the Ravens with Charlie Batch in 2012. The Ravens went on to win the Super Bowl that year.

Quite honestly though, I really don't see the Steelers winning this week.

I don’t think it’s likely the Steelers win, however the Ravens have feasted on poor teams and the Steelers have struggled against very good teams. 4 weeks into the season I don’t think the Ravens are as good as they’ve looked and I don’t think the Steelers are as bad as they’ve looked. On the road I would anticipate a 3-4 point with by the Ravens, but that could easily be a 3-4 win by the Steelers.
I’ll say 27-24 Ravens.

Agree with both. I just don't think the Ravens can really beat good teams with Lamar at QB. It's easy to beat up on bad teams and play from ahead. 5-10 yard drop offs are great to move up and down the field but when you're down and need to move quickly it doesn't work as well. That's why they couldn't come back on the Browns because Lamar can't throw an accurate pass downfield.

The Steelers still have an excellent offensive line and decent defense. Good enough to hang with most teams but I just don't see Mason beating good teams with his arm yet. I remember seeing a stat last night that sometime in the 4th Q his average pass completion distance was like 2 yards or something.

What really gives me some hope about the game last night want so much the win but the creativity on offense. That was something that Fichtner really struggled with the first 3 games and then last night he comes out with a plan that we hadn’t seen at all from this team. I’m not worried about Masons throws because he’s made some really nice intermediate and deep throws in preseason action. I just think it’s Fichtner being ultra conservative and utilizing his weapons. When you have the RBs who can catch and run like the Steelers do and a young QB, why not take quick, high percentage throws and play smart?
There are still a lot of things to consider but I stand that the Steelers are not as bad as they have looked and the Ravens aren’t as good as they’ve looked. So let’s find out on Sunday.

I did think the offense was perfectly crafted for Mason to succeed and it worked but I think mostly because the Bengals are god-awful. That 1st half was brutal. Against a competent team the Steelers might have been down 20 points going into halftime

The defense played great. I mean, I'm not sure how you look at that and say they would have been down 20 points at halftime? I saw what I hoped to see last night which was a better team beat up on a bad team.
Besides the NE game, both the games they lost were highly winnable against one undefeated team and a one-loss team. With a young team and a redshirt rookie QB, I think the progression has been positive.

Cowboys play the 30,31, and 32nd ranked defenses and start out 3-0. They play again a Drew Brees-less Saints team, and the Saints D wins that one for them. Now they play the Packers without Davante Adams. I can't stand the Cowboys, but they are getting lucky so far with the other teams play makers being out.

Looks like my boy Colt McCoy might be getting another NFL start this weekend.

Cowboys opponents combined record thru 4 games: 4-9-0

Should be 3-10-0 if the Bucs kicker doesn't miss a chip shot game winner

Yea, 34 yard kick to win after they drove down the field to give the guy a chance to win it. The Bucs kickers have been terrible the past few years now.

If I am remembering correctly, the Browns went into the 2012 draft determined to surround McCoy with offensive weapons. They picked Trent Richardson #4 and then had the card in hand ready to draft WR Kendall Wright......only to watch as the Titans picked Wright with the pick before theirs. In a panic (and with the Browns being the Browns), somebody grabbed the card for the geriatric Brandon Weeden and suddenly the team had a spontaneous first round quarterback and all the expectations that come with that kind of pick.

McCoy, recovering from a James Harrison cheap shot, became the backup and was traded after the season—the start of what has become a journeyman career.

Yep, big game for sure. That Bills D is legit. No Nick Williams moments this year, please. That was awful.
