Default Sports betting thread

Not sure which thread would be best so I decided to just pick off topic. People can use this one to say what they like or use. I just started placing some bets but have mostly done player prop bets for the NFL playoffs.

Last night I had parlay Rockets +3.5, Spurs -.5 and Spurs game under 227. Spurs lost so down $20.

Tonight I have $50 on 76ers -6.5. I like the Jazz tonight too but just cant bet against GS

last week I had NE -4 a Gronk with less than 50.5 yards. both wins. then next game I had a bunch.

Brees no INT (loss), Ashlon with over 4.5 catches(W), Ertz over 5.5 catches(L), No TD over 46.5 yards(W), over 3.5 FGs (L) and then Eagles score first in second half(L). All the these were $15-20

Cowboys/Rams game I had Rams winning first quarter(L). As a cowboys fan I was disappointed they won that quarter but lost the rest

Magic/Pistons I won and pushed the Warriors. Also put a prop bet on Curry over 29.5 points. Won that one as well.

I have Wizards -6.5
76ers/Pacers under 224
UCSB -1.5

then 3 team parlay: 76ers+10, Nuggets -5.5, Wizards -.5

figured more people placed sports bets online

Watch that 76ers spread. Both Embiid and Chandler are now listed as questionable.

Used to but stopped. Watching the game was no longer enjoyable when I had $ on the line.
After I stopped I enjoyed the games much more. The perspective was totally different. It wasn’t one sided and narrow.

I have never bet on Football. I know enough to be able to casually watch a playoff game, wouldn't dare venture into betting money on it though. If I were to ever win, it would be blind luck. Good luck to those of you who do!

Sports betting has gone well for me in the winter, in college basketball I’m 151-127-6 and up 27 units.

NFL I’m 48-51-2 but up 7.9 units thanks to some high unit plays

NBA I’m 70-70-1 and up 6 units

Also sprinkle a little on MD ML +130

With a 4 team parlay of Saint Louis, Villanova, Toledo, and Buffalo. -118 on the parlay

This weekend I love Chiefs -3

Went all in on the Chiefs to win on Sunday.

If they end up losing, well it was nice knowing all of you.

Last night put $5 on

Rams (+135)
Pats (+130)
Over 56.5 in the AFC championship
Under 57 in the NFC championship

Won $91.46

Wish I would have bet more.

Kansas at halftime made me miss my 4 team parlay. also missed out on Georgetown. Still up $35 for the day. Tonight I have Michigan -12 and a 3 team parlay(Niagara -3.5, T Tech +1.2 and Villanova +1.5). Don't really follow CBB to hard so just going by record. I will probably get destroyed

Watching sports games with money on the line makes it so much more interesting. My main focus is on the World Series and Stanley Cup and the AFL and NRL in Australia. I still do the odd multi, mostly 5.5+ goals in the NHL but that is my only exotic bet ie: dumb luck if it wins.

Avoid like the plague unders and overs, covering the line/spread, first scorers, and all the other myriad of crazy bet types that are a bookmaker’s bread and butter.

Those betting slips look very different to ours. I think I get the P2 Celtics must win by 12pts(11 is a push) and the Jazz must win by 16 pts.

What’s going on with the P5?

over for the heat/pistons game and the others just have to win the game. Doesnt matter points
