Im just getting back into football cards and had some luck recently by pulling a 2016 Contenders Ezekial Elliott Cracked Ice Auto redemption. I submitted the redemption a month ago and had a few questions:
- It says it can take up to 4 months. How long do redeptions tend to take. - I’ve read posts of collectors saying theyve waited years for a redemption. Is this common? - For a card like this which is a top 3 in the set and something customers really saught out, what happens if they cant get the cards released? I would guess the card would go for $1500 - what does Panini do to fix this? - Ive read that you can ask panini for replacement cards. Would i get to choose the player? Any other info would be great. If anyone has a contact over there that could help out (after the 4 month waiting period) i would appreciate it. Thanks |

It takes a long time for redemptions. Julio Jones took 5 years to sign for some Panini stuff. Davanate adams and Khalil Mack contenders autos haven’t been signed yet either. Redemptions are bad for the hobby. Your card could worth $1500 today but Zeke could snap his leg and then what’s it worth? They don’t care and won’t do much to help or fix anything. Try calling them or using social media to get their attention.

OK, heres the deal..
First and formost, welcome back to collecting. Since Panini has taken the exclusive as the sole manufacturer of football cards, their customer service has gone down the crapper. In the past, Ive been able to reach out to someone, and actually be emailed back within a day ot two. He was responsive, and informative and I always got what I submitted. Its not like that anymore. If you do some searching around these forums, you will find more threads than you would want that discuss how people are now spending an hour redialing their numbers, sending tweet after tweet to PaniniCSM on twitter, and leaving message after message and not hearing back. Customer svc is non existent. The only advice I can offer is to be patient. If you have a Twitter acct, send tweets to PaniniCSM, or if youre really patient, call their cust svc number and be prepared to hit the redial button until its worn out. Eventually, someone will decide to get back to you. |
