Default Are card shows big where you live?

I grew up in Seattle WA and I remember going to card shows (almost every weekend) all over western WA while growing up with my dad. Now that I am living in Vegas where there is next to NOTHING in regards to card shows, I was wondering if card shows have died off everywhere or just where I live now.

When I was younger I remember going to one every other weekend, now there is almost zero around me. I get to one or 2 a year now.

Ohio seems to still have some good ones. Cant speak of northern ohio, but cincy/dayton area has two shows each month (60+tables). Columbus has a large one every other month, but havent been to it since they moved from the vet memorial. Cincinnati also has another show twice a year (130+ tables) that attract out of towners alot.

Here in Socal, they do not exist anymore. Even Frank and Sons is getting away from cards more and more.

The monthly show at Gonzaga Hall in Milwaukee (about 90 miles from me) has about 90 tables roughly. It's pretty good sized and has a good handful of attendees. The ones here in Madison are tiny....10-15 tables and 6-8 dealers.

Sadly no.

The best card shows in Michigan are all down in the southern parts of the state (Detroit area and surrounding suburbs) and can only be found once a twice a month at best.

So true. I could go to about 2-3 shows a month between hotel, convention center and mall shows. Now, I go to 1-2 shows a year and I live in the SF Bay Area where shows should be abundant. There's just nothing left worth going to, IMO.

None in Denver. It's a shame because every sport is popular here and I'd imagine people would come from all over. Would love to see one right before the football season starts.

Back in 1987, the Kokomo Mall used to have awesome shows! But now, no idea. I know there are a couple local shows a month, but I've never been.

lot of small shows around me but they are consistent, I go to the same show every month, if I had more time I would go to more. As for the 'bigger' shows near me I go to White Plains but really now only the August and January show are worth going to
