Default A thread to make the losers feel a little better

This thread will likely not work, but I thought I'd give it a try.

I realize that some of you are going to be devastated tonight. I'm honestly worried about some of you. On both sides.

I'm rooting for our Cleveland brethren as mentioned in another thread but I've always been a believer in giving yourself something positive to look forward to on both sides.

So, if you feel yourself as someone who is too vulnerable to defeat tonight, you've come to the right place.

This is the important part---

This is where you pledge to give something specific to a specific member of this board if your team wins. You read that right.

That way, if you're team loses, you say, "well, at least I don't have to give x card to y person.

And if your team wins, then you'll be thrilled enough that you won't be bugged that you lost something of worth.

Make sense?

It's a way of hedging your feelings. If it was me, and the Jazz were in the finals game 7, I'd throw a four figure card out there and give it up if they won. Totally not joking.

Like I said, this thread will likely bomb. It's worth a shot though.

If the Warriors lose, it won't be THAT bad....they still got their championship last year and they'll probably be the favorites to win next year too!

It'll hurt a lot more for Cavs fans if they lose though...

Cleveland has this stigma of not winning, and they haven't won a championship in about 120 years or so....or at least that's how it must feel to them.

If they lose tonight, some of them will keep believing they are "Cursed" or whatever...

Personally, I've had the pleasure of seeing my favorite team win it all but I've gone through the agony of seeing them lose in the final round as well, it felt REALLY BAD....but, I can guarantee you that as much as it may hurt to lose, eventually you get over it.

No, you're not gonna get over it in one day or a week, especially if you truly care for your team...

It might take some time, but the hurt will go away...

That's the beauty of sports.....there's ALWAYS next year...

I think if the Cavs win, Lebron will get killed. Love, a little bit, but not by the masses.

Steph Curry won't get the heat Lebron would. It will be a story, but he won't be massacred like Lebron. (I used Curry because he's the 'star' of that team)

Either way, I hope they both have great games and we have a GREAT game 7.

ENJOY EVERYONE!
