Really pissed off tonight. Our rec complex manager is now controlling the lights when we have games. It's a computerized system, and she decided to turn the lights off at 9:15. We had been finished playing for 5 minutes! Teams were still doing their post game, parents everywhere, equipment still in the dugouts. I am pissed! I told her to set them for 9:45 and if it was cleared out early I would let her know. My supervisor sent her a text saying he needs to meet with her as soon as he gets in tomorrow.

One of my friends text me tonight to ask how my date went Saturday. I told him we had a great time and are planning another day out. He asked me "so when are y'all going to make it official"? I really don't know. The working in the same office complicates things a little in my mind.

my 20.1 mile 23-24 minute ride tonight took 1 hour 4 minutes because of NNs

took 20 minutes just to get not even a 1/4 of the way to where i could get off the highway and onto a backroad

that backroad was bumper to bumper

about 4 miles from the house i heard and saw multiple red lights flashing and sirens going (FT would have been in whamers heaven) and we came to a dead stop

i turned around to get to another backroad and was ok then.....except for almost running over a nj car a few times

over the past 20 years, i have made this trip probably 1,000 times leaving at 10pm.....i usually pass 1 (occaisionally 2) cars and 2-3 big trucks

did not see a single vt plate throughout the entire journey

was behind a MD car for a bit before o could get around him on a backroad
