Congrats, that's one attention grabbing card!

My Top 5:
Siff Ripken
Efdot Mays
JK5 Clemente
Ermsy Ichiro
Jamieson Mattingly

Been having a blast with these cards and this thread so far! Lot of ups and downs for sure, but really enjoying collecting these. Ultimate goal is a JK5 set and Efdot set - the JK5 Williams has so far eluded my attempts, I'll get it eventually though!

Thought I'd see how some of these look with their (Tiffany) counterparts:

Well that’s a nice card to pull

It’s not a pube 1/1, but still nice

What’s different about Tiffany again? Isn’t it just more glossy or is it something else?

I saw someone say earlier that removing and reapplying the stickers on the cases was easy. Is this true? I'd love to try and straighten a couple of my recent ones from Topps. So sloppy.

Just before I went to work, I received a FedEx shipping notification for my ten Frank Thomas (Don C.) #73 cards.

Limited numbered sets. Backs are lighter and fronts are glossy. Considering they made millions of regular 80s topps. Tiffany are The ones to get.

This is what I did. Bought 2 baller trouts at $150, and 5 more at $60. Technically I’m into them at $85 a piece. That feels a little better

Very carefully with a straight razor. Slide the razor under the sticker from the back. After you get it a little under the sticker, hold the sticker between your finger and the blade and slowly peel it off. Position it on the one-touch starting in front so you can make sure it is straight. After you have it on the front of the new one-touch put everything off to the side. Then, on the snap case there are 2 tabs on the top about 1/2 inch down that face the front of the card. Use your 2 thumbs and puch the tabs outward. At the same time there is a small groove on the top edge. With one of your other fingers, pry the case open from the groove. Replace the card in the new case and finish putting on the sticker.

At least someone on BO that has been posting for awhile pulled a 1/1. FeelsGoodMan.

I hope I pull the Shore Griffey 1/1. Lord knows I have plenty coming.

I'm a big fan of this product as I can continue to buy the cards for the reason I intended - they look cool. I'll buy the ones I like and pass on the rest.

Now of course my Project2020 collection has a few holes in it, but i'll take the cash and buy other cards that I think have better long term value and meaning to my non Project2020 collection

My Topps Project 2020 Sales to Date
Ichiro Baller: $4050
Trout Ermsy: $2400
Griffey Saladeen: $950
Brett Stiff: $909
Williams JK5: $820
Williams Fucci: $811
Henderson Vides: $810
Clemente Cartoon: $810
Gibson Grotesk: $710

Total sales: $12,270
Est. Net After Fees: $11,043

Cost: $162
(First dollar invested 3/25/20)

Net Profit: $10,0881
Since I sold through Probstein (except for the Trout/Ermsy which a friend sold for me and looks like we are in the clear there) I don't have 100% certainty about what's been paid for.

Fingers crossed.

Posting this simply because having some time WITHOUT those cards the ones that are still "calling me" and I want to buyback are:

-Trout Ermsy (I do think this will be THE card that represents this set)
-Griffey Saladeen

The rest I feel like are 'ok' holes to have in my collection

Wow! That Brett is pimp

I’m probably not gonna buy it, but what is the realistic value on that? I need a Beck to complete my set

Thought on the prices in the week to come?

I only ask a week because predicting this for two weeks is next to impossible. We could see 2 or 3 turns by then.

From the 10 card index I have chosen it looks like we have a flattening late last night this morning that may even be a slight tick up. The big 3 didn't have enough movement, but some of the other cards I look at are seeming to trend up. It is hard to split the auctions that started 7 days or longer ago as those may have bad prices, so I throw out the outliers. I am optimistic for prices, but more optimistic for the quality that the artists are putting out there. It has been said that some of the artists hit the ground running with their first card, but I think a good half didn't know what they were in to or maybe didn't care as much, but it feels that they are all in it now. I like what we are seeing as we hit 25% today!
