Our compliance department requires additional information regarding your account.

Please log in to the Payment Details section of your account and upload the following information:

Date of birth
Place of birth
Scanned copy of your passport or national ID

I seriously cannot even find "Payment Details" page on the site, and, yes, I've googled it.

Also, I'm just annoyed again. I don't like these things coming at me out of the blue when I could have taken care of it ahead of time. I've done a handful of cashouts this year, and I've never received this message before, nor have I received an explanation of why they need this now.

A . I would inquire into why they need such personal info.

B) double check the email address it came from

They probably mean the "Configure Payment Method" link under Request a Check

yes, 100%. I've sent in hundreds of corrections requests over the years and it's still as bad as ever. Apparently the same person is charge because they're making the same mistakes all these years later. It's like they can't comprehend words - pretty dense person. I've had to resend several requests on the same card because they screw up the correction request on the correction request. Baffling...

Yep. I just had a 2023 Bowman's Best Max Clark Purple Refractor correctly labeled by PSA and COMC called it a (base) refractor.

This is Know Your Customer screening. I would bet $10 someone with your same name or a very similar one is a known criminal or otherwise on a blacklist. They're asking you for this info to prove you're not that guy. It may be a new entry on their list.

They just uploaded a Bowman Chrome Superfractor 1/1 for me and labeled it as a Blue Sky Refractor. Like...how do you mess that one up

Same here, but based on the ratio of errors that everyone is getting, I would rather have them listed after they fix their issues.

Hmmm...I submitted some cards for grading a while back and of course paid the submission price at that time. Now just today I just got hit with a $184 charge for grading submission...is that good news that I got a PSA 10 that's worth way more than the submission price that I originally submitted it under or something?

Nevermind, just found the email in my spam folder and it confirmed exactly that, I got a PSA 10, woohoo! $4000 card now that I thought was going to get a PSA 8 or 9, lol

I just had to do this today. 4 days after I sent the cash out. How long did it take them to pay you after completing?

Feels like their ebay auctions underperform vs. other consigners in my experience. Feels like I'm 90% of the time I'm going below comps w/ them. Very few upside surprises. Trying to avoid auctioning through them these days but sometimes just need to clear inventory for cash.

Gotta be someone doing really well with a flipping model of just sniping low on their auctions then relisting on COMC as fixed price.

The only thing that makes this hard is the 10% cashout fee you have to pay

Would it be possible to win a COMC auction on eBay, pay with your usual credit card, and then have COMC “ship” your order to your COMC box so then you only pay the $1 (instead of the 10% with COMC balance) or whatever to have the card moved to your account?
