I have already seen The Newsboys a few times but my wife has been wanting to see KC and The Sunshine Band and he usually never comes to Mississippi. Even though it’s a bit of a trip to Gautier Mississippi we will stay for Friday night and head back sometime Saturday it is in April so the weather should be decent.
My wife and I saw The Newsboys in about 1993 along with Michael W. Smith.

That sucks I am glad my wife handles all the banking now. I used to do it when we lived in New York and it was one of my least favorite things to do if a problem came up.

KC would be my top choice from that list.

I am currently so sick of classic rock.

Goes to show how long some bands stay around and how old we are getting. Any bands on me and my wife’s bucket list we better see soon as they are starting to not to be too morbid here dying off. Most of the bands we like the performers are all in their late 60’s or 70’s.

I agree I don’t know if it’s because the bands have all been around for 50 years and there is only so many times you can listen to the same songs or if we have just gotten as old and stale as the bands themselves.

I saw REO back in the 1983-84 range when Survivor opened for them. First concert I ever went to.

The Newsboys? The Christian band? They're still around?

If it’s calculus I don’t blame him. I used to like math until that garbage started.

Upon further review, it wasn't The Newsboys that we saw - it was DC Talk.
My wife reminded me.

We have seen Russ Taff and also saw Rich Mullins the year before he died.

Algebra was my doom in high school.

My Dad was a math genius and it skipped me.

The middle SD came by today with our granddaughter as she had looked at another house here in King George. We all went and tried Roma's Pizza for dinner. Based on the appearance of my Son's personal pizza, I don't think I'd like the pizza there. The French Dip sandwich I had was pretty good though.

DC Talk was my fav as a kid. My Mom went to see them in 91 in Germany and Kevin gave her the cross he was wearing, which she gave to me. Saw them myself when I was like 12. Hilarious to look back at now, but I suppose we all liked some pretty stupid stuff as kids! Hell, I still like some pretty stupid stuff now, just not quite as bad as Christian rap. Don't get me started on Michael W. Smith.

My Son will be on spring break March 11th - 15th. I think we may take that Friday off and take him to Cooperstown to the MLB Hall of Fame for the weekend. Too bad Cooperstown's Pierce Ascendant Tower won't be delivered by then.

Just make sure you have enough time to enjoy it. We went in 2017 when we were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary and only had a few hours to spare. Definitely not enough time but we might go back, if you feel like it spend an extra hour and drive to the grounds where Woodstock was, they have a nice little museum and some good films to watch.
