I would agree with this up until 2021. In 2022, he was horrible in the post season. Hopefully with his resurgence this year, it will carry over to the post season.

The biggest issue is the guy who usually carries them all year disappears in the post season. No need to say his name.

No need to be sellers when you are in first place, but the long term possibilities mean more to me sometimes. If DJ comes back to play better than Torres and Berti/Cabrera at third is still a decent fill in, why not get something for Torres instead of letting him walk at the end of the season for nothing?

If this team is serious about re-signing Soto, there's no room for a Torres contract. I mean, they are already hinting at letting Rizzo go just to have more money for a Soto signing. And of Spencer Jones isn't ready for prime time, a cheap year contract to Verdugo would be nice.

Since my parents are coming down this weekend, I've been full steam ahead trying to get my basement finished up with displaying my memorabilia and hanging my autographed 16x20s photos. When it's all done, I'm either going to take a ton of photos or do a video. I'll post some of it here since, of course, the majority of the stuff is Yankees.

Well, here's one I haven't seen in forever. That's certainly going to hurt for this upcoming series.

Won’t know until they get there and if he doesn’t hit his trade value takes another hit and if he does now they are stuck with him again.

Can’t have him disappear like he did after the 62 home run season.

Yes you can’t risk the future but it’s not like they don’t have the money to rebound even if they screw up.

Read an article somewhere that Gil would be the odd man out with Cole coming back - no way, right? He's been too good.

That type of mistake would set back the whole progress of the pitching staff.

Guess it’s not just the White Sox 2-0 already Verdugo 2 run double.

Stroman uses a double play to get out of a little jam in the second.

That is true in our minds, but it is Hal running the team.

Shouldn't be him, but I'm guessing it's going to happen. He's pitched a lot better than Stroman and Cortes that's for sure.
