Like the poster above, I wanted to try selling some $200-500 slabs on COMC and see how the experience is. Do they cross-list Buy it Now items on ebay automatically, or is there a way to have them do it for you?
It is automatic, but I don't think you can ask them to post something if their system doesn't pick it up for crosslisting

Ouch. Risk reward though I'm sure you have plenty on the opposite of the spectrum with. significant profit!

I’ve currently got it setup to undercut the lowest price by $0.01 with a floor price of 110% of the acquired price (or $0.05 if the card was purchased for a penny or two). When I trust it, I’m going to remove the “clicking continue” thing so it just does everything with one button click.

What other logic or features would you guys want to see in an automated repricer for COMC?

If anyone wants to mess with the Chrome extension too, it’s called BrowserFlow. Only caveat is that it requires writing some JavaScript to work with the data on your inventory page and to create some of the logic.
Got a working version of the automated COMC repricer live. Runs on the free tier of the Chrome plug-in, Browserflow. Still has a lot more that I wanna add to it but if anyone else wants to try it out and give feedback or mess with the code themselves, the links to everything are in the description of this explainer video: https://youtu.be/vTG2aBry7tI?si=wqTV8y_MUgg6YLNe

I'd say about 25%+ of items you click on(and waste points/.10 if you bought them...) don't even show anything...like this one

I submitted 5 groups (each 550 ct boxes) and the package arrived today and normally COMC scans each individual group. Today, however, they scanned a single box (this batch appears in my Submissions) and then I received an email saying they processed another batch of 1,250 items (the total for the 4 remaining groups). The email says that was given a batch number but I don't see this submission in my Submissions summary. Has anyone had this happened before? Do they usually correct this after a day or so or should I reach out to COMC?

Thanks! If you try it out, please let me know what you think. My goal with it is to get it so that it can perfectly price any card and loop through every inventory page by itself. Then it can be ran nightly to do all my repricing while I sleep. 😝

thanks! hmmm...I think the price only shows if it is taken off the site via ebay or a cart purchase or if somebody requests a shipment - otherwise it doesn't show.

wonder who picked it up for $8k...

I think running the undercut repricing hourly will accomplish the goal quicker and stress test the programs and site as well

This is a highly irresponsible idea. We all know the site is held together by the tech equivalent of a team of three-legged hamsters.

If four or five large sellers start running this hourly, it will put a huge amount of stress on the site for no discernable benefit to anyone (including IMO the sellers concerned).

Hats off to paulcarlcards for the technical feat of building this, but I doubt using it to do 1c price undercutting is particularly in the long-term interests of the sellers doing it. And I'm certain that the use of this at scale will greatly slow the site and perhaps even cause periodic crashes.

It doesn’t go very fast so running hourly isn’t really an option. It saves a price every 3 seconds (once the price is edited) so at most it would do 20 cards per minute (or 600 per hour). The current version can only do 10 cards at a time on the free tier of BrowserFlow (longer run times for the script require a paid plan of the Browserflow extension) and then it can only do 500 cards at a time.

The human input of having to confirm before automatically saving prices really throttles the possibility of causing any bigger server stress. Any of us here can manually input prices faster than the tool can by virtue of typing (or pasting) the price and hitting enter. So 10 humans pricing for an hour would send/request more data to COMC than 10 instances of this tool running.

That said, the tool doesn’t say “eff it this is dumb” and give up after that hour lol. It doesn’t have the capability to go through multiple pages by itself either (yet).

I’m gunna ask COMC support and see what they say about this tool.

Thanks for the response. I was looking more to the the future you envisioned when you talked about having the confidence to just let it run.

With that said, I had been assuming that what you built was checking the underlying card pages to get prices of things that were on sale. But now I look more closely it looks like this is pricing to be the lowest pre-sale priced card, so is not looking through to the underlying card page to see the lowest price including sales. So my worry about the site load automating that would cause is likely unfounded. Do I have that right the tool is blind to pricing of cards on sale?

Yeah, it’s blind to the sales and just goes by the data on page. It is possible to have it check each card’s page too though.

The cards that I have purchased over the years only about 15% has prices on them.

As far as I know 5 have to be sold and shipped before you get prices listed. It may have changed.

Highest price per grade only needs one to have been shipped off site.

It's the SRP (Suggested Retail Price) that requires 5 sales to compute.

Oh, and I just checked, the card has been relisted at $12K.

True. For example, this has less than 5 sales and shows a couple data points.

I have a card I want to send to eBay auction, but the only option I'm seeing right now is for the live 15-second auction event. Will the standard auction option become available if I have the card reprocessed as elite? Or do I have to wait for the 15-second auction event to pass?

Didn't give COMC anything at the National but the two submissions I sent Monday got to COMC Wednesday and were checked in immediately.
