We don't get that kind of honesty anymore.

Heck, even in my classroom there are unequal things that are just about unavoidable.

Example: I had a class with 120 students. I had one girl who wore a hijab. As a result, I noticed when she skipped class much easier than when one of the twenty blonde white guys with perms named Kyle or Brayden did.

I was aware that I noticed her attendance more than other students and tried not to hold it against her, but we don't live in a world where a teacher can openly discuss that kind of reality at a university.

I don't want to go back out. I came home to grab food. I'd just like to spend the day under my heated blanket.

I am excited though because my order from chewy.com is coming in. I try to buy local but they have the best selection of stuff for the hermit crabs. Got them some leaves they are going to love!

Also, I used some of my Christmas money to get my son and I matching hoodies and they should be here tomorrow. For every sweatshirt ordered, they plant 3 trees.

Exciting day at the office. I had about 50 missed calls from a parent so I've been dealing with that all morning. My supervisor has now talked to everybody involved and I guess figured out what happened. It was at a practice, so neither of us were at that gym.
