It kinda sucks though that if he's pitching, you can't get both points. I guess that always been basically true of NL pitchers, but still -- you would think that ESPN could come up with a solution to that.

Of course... it is possible that he's a total bust and this whole point would be moot.

Who knows. They’ve shown that you can never have too many starters and the Mets are now copying them. Sucks for fantasy, but if it gets them to October...screw it

This server push to 2018 taking this long makes ESPN look like such crap..... I almost want to talk about paying to cover the CBS Commissioner league cost. They can host minor leaguers on the site, plus you can trade draftpicks up to 3 years in advance on the site. But it's like $150 or $200 per season to run a league on there

I hated CBS, did a league with some fam there last year. Frustrating how long ESPN has been down, but they are making significant improvements. The big one is Ohtani and other pitchers being able to hit, but they're also starting to implement some keeper handling better

Agree to disagree. CBS is a simple interface IMO, and they have depth for dynasty leagues already built in. They did the same thing with Ohtani already too (actually went live with the feature first SP/DH eligibility).

But by having built in minors slots on your roster, all players in the player pool, and the ability to create a player if someone isn't in the pool makes it easier to host Dynasty leagues.

I have been playing on ESPN since 1999 but I just feel like they've been passed up by the competition for fantasy games.

We'll have to give a few days for trades and keepers, but shouldn't need to wait too long to start

Seriously, I knew that ESPN has basically giving up on covering anything but basketball, but this is just stupid. After all the layoffs, maybe they've got no one on Fantasy Baseball IT.
