Not only the insane production but the inevitability that PSA pop reports on these newer guys are going to look drastically different in 6-12 months from now. Anyone buying a PSA10 Lamelo right now is nuts. Another dip is coming

I think the pop reports for 2018 will be far more stable becasue of the price of 2018 wax still. 2019 might see a doubling of the 2018 pop for luka for Zion/Ja

I just picked up a 2018 donruss fat pack box for what I thought was a reasonable price. Long term, I like this class.

I like 2018, too.

In terms of actual on-court play, I don't think anyone of note has taken a huge step back.

But Bridges (both of them), Simons, WCJ, and JJJ have shown improvement.

And maybe Bagley will show signs of life in Detroit.

2018 BSKB kind of reminds me of 2017 football. I get it for Patty, but there are plenty of other great players included.

Yeah the funny thing about it looking back was not many people were excited about it at the time. Everyone was so excited and pumped up over the 2017 NBA draft class and felt a little let down by the end of that season. People were saying the 2018 class was going to be a weak one with no star players but look at it now. Weird how that works sometimes.

Yes, I remember 2017 was supposed to be one of the best classes---ever.

Fultz, Ball, Tatum, Fox, etc...

But then, there are some classes that are projected to be duds (2013) and actually are (except Giannis and CJ).

2017 didn't end up being too bad after all. I'm thankful for it because it got me into collecting basketball cards being a Celtics fan. I was excited when they drafted Tatum. And then the following year led me to Luka.

I was one of the posters who slammed Luka for coming in fat and out of shape to start the season, but I'm heaping the praise on him now. The Kid has been balling out and playing some great BSKB. Let's hope he keeps it up second half.

Just checked the POP report on the courtside. Amazing its still at 219. Just shows you how short print the courtside was in 2018. The market overall and the printing of select this past year has hurt the value of this card but I still believe long-term in it. Thoughts?
