So aggravating when Dallas really had no answer for Zion in the first half.

Why are these other guys allowed to shoot? Look at the Mavs Doncic and Porzingas have 25 and 19 attempts each. Pels need to use their best players....like maybe the guy that looks unstoppable tonight.

Its crazy that in 24 games, Zion has only 3 games that he took more than 20 shot attempts.

Pels are the only organization on earth that would intentionally go away from a player that went 11-11 in the first half.

Just a mind blowing trend.

I'm starting to see why AD wanted out at all costs. Something just hasn't been right with this franchise for a minute. Z's starting to show the visible frustrations.

Solid 2 rebounds. Efficient on offense though.

They probably went away from him since he missed the three point try. He was stating to go cold.

Honestly should have been benched for that after the way he'd been abusing Kleebs and Unicorn down low.

If Zion had a competent coaching staff and teammates around him, imagine what he could do....

He didn’t have any chance at boards . When team shoots close to 60 percent from three and porzingis is hitting from the logo all you can do is grab it out of the net and bring it in. Even adams the rebound machine only had four.

I've watched almost every game Zion has played in the league so far. The reason his rebounding numbers are low is because defensively, he is usually chasing guys around the perimeter. Hard to rack up defensive boards when you're around the 3-point line when the shot goes up.

Zion just dropped 36 while missing one shot and we are honestly going to sit here and obsess over how many rebounds he had tonight?

Zion is putting up one more fg attempt than Curry chucks from 3 so far this month.

*money ball analytics*

The Pels need to reboot IBM Watson. There's a glitch.

It is ridiculous that the Pels players shoot more than let Zion work. He should be getting more touches. I don't watch much of Pels, but I'm going to say they haven't had a Pels guard with 10+ assists in a game this year. Pels have too many jacking up shots, not enough passers. Zion could be raking, but Pels players, or Lakers rejects play hero ball.

Not a good game plan when Zion shoots 90%+ from the floor, but Redick and Hernangomez have more shots combined.

Just your daily reminder that Zion Williamson is pretty good at basketball:

24.3 PPG (15th in the NBA), 61.3 % from the field (1st among all top 50 scorers), 25.85 PER (8th in the NBA)

48 Career games played

20 Years old.

Hope this is sarcasm... if it is I'm pointing this out to the people who actually believe this narrative.
Defensive rebounds are severely overrated, and Zion is actually pretty good in offensive rebounding. When he misses a layup he gets it back 9 times out of 10 for an easy putback thus making him even more efficient. It's almost unprecedented the way he does this. Who cares about defensive rebounding? That's what Adams and Hart are there for.

Zion's advanced stats almost certainly make him a top 10 player already

Pitchforks and lanterns not needed. Purely sarcasm.

My sarcasm meter is off. Been seeing this narrative over the internet lately and it's getting to me.

SVG....just another retread bum. How many mediocre seasons does a coach need to stay employed forever?

Ask Adam Gase. It's insane how many coaches get 2nd, and 3rd, and 4th chances when they fell on their face in all of their previous stints of employment.

its amazing, they completely cleaned house when Zion was drafted, Even moved out a guy i was pretty cool with in college (was on our staff) who was director of player personnel for a few years with the Pels just prior to Zion being drafted (yes i attempted to get a job with them ) So cleaned house and this is the best they could come up with? I didn't hate van gundy as the magic coach, and though i liked dwight alot, i thought he was the big baby in that situation. But was van gundy really the problem back then too maybe?
