We had a taco casserole last night. It was this week's new recipe.

No sleep last night again for the second night in a row.

I'm anxiously waiting which phone call I'll get first at work?

We did or did not get the house or my Son was beat up at school.

I already told my wife that if my Son gets beat up today by that kid, the school better have a resource officer on hand to escort me out because I'm going to be the loudest, angriest parent every to go off on that Principal and Vice Principal.

Yeah, it's so hard to process especially when it's a child.

Our area recently had 2 young adults take their own lives. A freshman in college and a senior in high school. They were both Trans and dating. They got bullied pretty badly. Both went to my oldest high school at some point.

It sucks because we were going to use that extra money to buy some new furniture, pay professional movers, and get a replacement diamond for my wife's engagement ring.
Less Christmas presents, no replacement diamond. Some things aren't really needed in life.

The X wing pilot helmet isn't one of the ones I'd want. I have the 5 I want that they've come out with already.

Yeah, I already told my Son yesterday it was going to be a lean Christmas and for once, he actually understood. He told me he wanted just two things: external 2TB hard drive for his XBox and a Bo Bichette autographed baseball.

The engagement ring really makes me mad. My wife failed to get it inspected which caused them not to automatically replace it after it broke off. She expects me to buy another one for $10,000. I already paid for it once, why should I buy another one?

My wife's gold band cost about $175 when I got it.
It's what she wanted and she was happy.
And is still happy.

I guess I'll be moving my refrigerator in the garage with us if we get this house as they aren't leaving their secondary refrigerator that's in the basement behind. They are also taking the ring doorbell and TV mounts on the walls. I hope they patch the holes.

My wife is high maintenance when it comes to jewelry and purses.

So, I now have 4 gifts for my Son for Christmas on order. The most expensive was $167 which was his Bo Bichette autographed baseball.

My wife only wants two gifts, but she still hasn't sent me a link to one of them yet.

I didn't sleep at all last night. I just laid there from 11 pm until 6:30 when I got out of bed.

Today is going to be a good day, I have it in my mind.

My parents asked my brother's and their wives what they wanted for Christmas, of course they had huge lists ready for them. They asked me and I said 5, 3200 count boxes for cards. They said it has to be something more than that I want. Told them I buy the stuff I want, and the only reason I need the boxes is I just hadn't ordered them yet.

I haven't been in a classroom in 20 years. Comparing what was going on then to what was going on when I went to school seemed to be so different. Granted, when I was the new kid, moving here back in 1980, I just wanted to be left alone. What I had to put up with on the school bus was not good. Aside from that, things weren't too bad growing up. I cannot imagine what things are like now for them with all of the technology/social media and the lack of parenting in many instances. My only frame of reference is the 2 16 year old kids I have at work. They are both good kids and are both really happy when I am there (like last night). Probably because I treat them with respect and not like kids. Maybe the way I work with them (I had to correct the guy last night but did not raise my voice or get frustrated), is what they need and the way they need it. All any of us can really do is to treat kids with respect and listen to them. Also, make them laugh, even if it is at your own expense.

My god, some of the recent takes in the football forum make the basketball forum look normal.

Not feeling it today. It's rare I'm not motivated to kick azz 24/7. Maybe I'm coming down with something.

Mahomes is the best and the FSU QB is better than Mahomes?

I got about 6 hours of sleep. Around sunrise I woke up worrying about how much I still have to do before I leave Thursday morning. I have doctor appointments this morning and tomorrow morning, and I work tonight. I am waiting on 4 cases of top loaders to arrive (hopefully today). I have a bit under a 3 row box each of penny sleeved baseball and basketball I want to get into top loaders before I leave. I also want to add to and reprice the unopened stuff I am bringing with me, as well as make up different signs for the dollar cards. I am bringing probably what is likely to be 70-75 rows of top loaded dollar cards. Hoping to sell 20-25% of it.
