That cut depends on the amount, and type of bill, owed.

So could you please just stay on topic or not, but not troll yourself?

Thanks
Oh, hi! No, I was saying that so this thread could stay on topic. TY

Not sure how it wasn't on topic... as you quite literally posted the same topic a few months ago https://www.blowoutforums.com/showpo...ostcount=22963 about how buyers can be a nuisance with their offers. So when I point out that these offers can be a nuisance and the buyer is maybe the issue and not the seller I'm a troll and off topic?

Kinda hard to see how you're not being disingenuous but I'll give you the benefit of a doubt.

Imagine if this blackthidot guy called you out for raising the prices on him (one of his only courses of action) and attempted to dissuade people from dealing with you. That wouldn't be okay.

That was the entire discussion and it was in particular to COMC. As far as flaws of the site go, being able to simply block buyers and move on has been the bane of sellers existence for a while.

Is there a typical time range one could reasonably expect to receive a response from the COMC support team once a ticket/request has been submitted?

Dealing with the first time that I've ever had to reach out to them, and wondering how long I should give it before considering a follow-up. Thanks!

For all the years I have contacted them. It has jumped around from the same day to over week.

Just a rant: Maybe all the support team is helping out shipping team for a few days.

You need to stop. No one really cares. It was rhetorical.

Only 81 Chapters to go.

The matter was done. But more than a few people wanted to get their say.

It was done a long time ago from my end.

Get this message a few minutes ago. My message was sent late Tuesday evening.

We appreciate your continued patience and understanding.

Best Regards,

Had a COMC order ship today. Originally scheduled for 1/16 then bouncing around and had 2/20 this morning with like 63k ahead. They might just be five days ahead of their revised dates.

Yep, got that one as well a few weeks back. That's just a form letter that they send out now.

I would guess that when a someone sends out a second email, it goes somewhere near the top of the pile of issues to be addressed.

Heck of a change from a few months ago, when the red support button actually meant something. Sometimes you could chat with someone within minutes.

Just got a $5 shipping credit for my next order. I didnt email them or anything. I guess because my recent order is going to take around 2 1/2 months to ship...

Thank you for your shipment request with COMC! We apologize for not meeting our estimated ship date. Track the status of your shipment.

Over the past few weeks, our time to fulfill orders has increased because of extraordinarily high demand. Our shipping team is working diligently to close the gap on these delays.

As a gesture of our appreciation for your business and patience, a $5 discount will be automatically applied to the next order placed before May 16, 2024 from your account on COMC.com.

We’re working hard to optimize joy for collectors. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience our delay has caused you.

I have received two vouchers this afternoon. I wonder if more will come since I am waiting on 4 shipments. I did get a rushed order shipped today plus one of the ones that I have been waiting on for months. Guessing it is just me though that actually has things shipping.

The owner who is supposed to be a programmer is 20 years behind the new tech and doesn't employee other programmers. Always a struggle.

I'm in the same (almost exact) boat as you. The crazy thing is that the original wait (1/14 to 2/19) was about 36 days, and now after waiting those original 36 days the new wait (2/20 to 4/1) is about 41 more days. I hope the new date of 4/1 was done intentionally, because the joke is certainly on me.

Is COMC's customer service just flat-out terrible now or is it just my case?
  • An auction of my card ended early and I lost money. It was a really weird glitch.*
  • They said they were looking into it.
  • That was 3+ weeks ago.
  • I've heard nothing back at all.
  • I've been sending emails to remind them about my issue but it's been complete silence on their end.

Not even sure what to do at this point.

---

* The glitch seems to cause some auctions being sold right after the listing begins. Mine was sold roughly 1 hour after the listing went live. I believe these "glitched" listings are also appearing to be sold as "Best Offer Accepted" when searching Sold Listings (which is a sign of a glitch on its own since there is no eBay -> COMC offer system).

To see a recent example of a COMC auction being sold via Best Offer search eBay for: 256348992838. Then tap "Sold Listings".

How is it possible that their app is so bad? I'd say it works maybe 3 out of 10 times if I'm lucky. I'm not sure if it's just me, but this app is complete trash

I am in a similar situation as both of you. My original ship date was supposed to be Thursday. Last week, the items ahead of my order line barely moved, and in some cases actually went up.

Date Requested: 1/17/2024
Estimated Ship Date: 4/2/2024

They need to shift people from other areas into picking/shipping for a few days.

The "Best Offer" COMC listings are for any items sent to their eBay Live Auctions. They are placeholder listings and may show being sold via "best offer" but will update with the actual sold price once the eBay Live Auction is completed. Those listings are not actually selling to a "best offer".
