I don't think I've ever seen a creepier trailer. That scene in the car at the end...yikes.

Glad to hear that. I was thinking of checking it out this upcoming weekend.

"The Sadness" on Shudder is one of the more extreme virus/zombie movies you will ever see. These ones aren't undead, but are fast movers rendered extremely savage by the virus even as they maintain their intelligence. Romero's "The Crazies" is probably the main inspiration for this strain.

As over-the-top as a lot of the kills were, I was left with the feeling there's an even more graphic cut of this movie out there. If so, yikes!

It could potentially stream on Peacock the first week of August.

I thought Hereditary was one of the best horror films in a very long time. Such a freaky movie and didn't rely heavily on cheap jump scares. Just a very emotionally heavy movie, so much revolves around grief and emotion with the occult themes next to those.

Just got done watching Mad God. I can dig the creativeness of it all, but overall was dumb and had no point for my simple mind. I get more of a storyline watching old Tool videos than whatever this was.

Trying to watch this now, is there an English dubbed version? Or am I stuck reading subs?

Done watching it. A little too gory/sick for my liking.

I’m about a third of the way through it. It’s definitely heavy on the gore. My wife was next to me reading and asked, “what the hell are you watching?”

Just watched Black Phone. It had it moments where it was good/interesting. It had a twist ending that was a waste of time. I didn't care about the twist. I'm not sure anyone did. It was not worth having. Ending in general was very meh. 5/10. Reasonable concept, good acting by the little girl and by Hawke. Not so much by most of the rest of the cast. Needed better follow through.

It looked cliched as all heck from the previews. Pass.

I don't know that Last Night In Soho is really a horror, but it was definitely a weird ghost movie. The two female leads really made the movie for me. I think it was pretty good.

More suspense/thriller, but good movie nonetheless. That one girl, who was also in Queen's Gambit, has a bright future ahead of her. She's going to have quite the career as she has been able to play many different characters in her time as an actress and has done well in all.

Really enjoyed this movie.

Rob Zombie's The Munsters trailer just dropped yesterday. While, I remember catching the show as a kid, I was not an avid watcher of it. Either way, his trailer looks terrible, but someone with more insight to the show may think differently, I guess.

Haven't come across any good 2022 horror movies in a while. I think the "Master of Puppets" solo in the Upside Down from Stranger Things might be my horror highlight of 2022 so far.

I have high hopes for Dark Harvest coming this October.

Have you checked out Fresh on Hulu? I can't think of a 2022 release that I've liked more.

Until now, I don’t think a trailer has ever put me to sleep. Impressive.

I enjoyed Art The Clown in Terrifier, Terrifier 2 comes out in a few months after a long Covid delay. I even donated money to help get it made.
