Just got this back after submitting through COMC at the end of January
![]() 2014 Topps - [Base] #125.2 - Joe Mauer (Sparkle) [PSA 10 GEM MT] Courtesy of COMC.com Population report has one 8, one 9, and now two 10s. Here's the 9 I could find (#91010537 and not my card) ... ![]() How to tell PSA to update the population report and remove the card? Not super important (low value card), but bothering me ![]() |

Hopefully someone can chime in as I have tried reporting several cards to PSA but I can't find a good way to do it as I was told from the customer service reps to reach out to the CRC department and when I did that they told me to send my card in for review (even after I told both customer service and CRC the card was not mine). Maybe there is a better way to do this.

To address an issue with the Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA) Population Report showing an incorrect population count for a graded card and to request the removal of an extra card, follow these steps based on PSA’s procedures and available resources: Verify the Error: Access the PSA Population Report on their website (www.psacard.com) and search for the specific card using the card name, set, or player to confirm the discrepancy. Compare the reported population with your records or the card’s certification number to ensure the extra card is indeed an error. Note that PSA acknowledges data entry errors may occur, causing discrepancies between the label and the database. Gather Necessary Information: Collect details about the card, including the certification number (found on the lower right of the encapsulated label or PSA/DNA sticker), card name, year, set, and grade. If possible, provide evidence of the error, such as a scan of the card’s label or documentation showing the correct population (e.g., if you know the card was removed or regraded). Submit a Label Correction Request: Log in to your PSA account on www.psacard.com. Navigate to the “My Account” page and locate the Customer Request Center. File a Label Correction Request to report the population report error. Specify that the population count includes an extra card and needs updating. Include all relevant details (certification number, card details, and evidence of the error). PSA notes that data entry errors can be corrected through this process, so clearly explain the issue to ensure they investigate the population discrepancy. Contact PSA Customer Service: If the Label Correction Request does not resolve the issue or you need further assistance, contact PSA’s Customer Service Department: Use the contact form on www.psacard.com under “Help & Support.” Alternatively, email PSA at [email protected] or call their customer service line (available on their website) for direct communication. Provide a detailed explanation of the population report error, including the certification number and why you believe an extra card is listed (e.g., a card was regraded, returned, or incorrectly entered). Request Removal of the Extra Card: In your request or communication, explicitly ask PSA to remove the extra card from the Population Report. For example, if a card was regraded or deemed inauthentic, it may still be listed in the database, inflating the population count. If the extra card is tied to a specific certification number, provide that number and request that PSA verify whether the card should be excluded (e.g., due to regrading, tampering, or error). PSA’s database is updated daily, so they can adjust counts if an error is confirmed. Follow Up: Track the status of your request through the PSA Online Submission Center or the PSA app, which provides real-time updates on order progress. If you don’t receive a response within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., a few weeks), follow up via email or phone to ensure your request is being processed. Additional Considerations: Potential Causes of Errors: Population report inaccuracies can stem from regraded cards, cards removed from circulation, or data entry mistakes. For instance, if a card was regraded to a different grade or deemed tampered (as noted in controversies involving PSA), it might still appear in the original grade’s population. Limitations: PSA’s Population Report may not always reflect real-time changes due to delays in updating or unrecognized varieties in older sets. Be prepared for PSA to explain that some discrepancies are due to system limitations. Escalation: If the issue persists, escalate your request by asking to speak with a supervisor or referencing PSA’s guarantee of grading accuracy, which may apply if the error affects the card’s reported grade or authenticity. By following these steps—submitting a formal request through the Customer Request Center, contacting customer service, and providing clear evidence—you can effectively communicate the issue to PSA and request an update to the Population Report to remove the extra card. Check the PSA website for any updates to their process, as procedures may evolve |

izlo,
Thanks for that. I submitted a ticket through the PSA website Help & Support with Topic: Cert Verification and Other as the categories. PSA should add an easier "Report an Error" feature similar to COMC. I'll see if I get any response ![]() |

I am now on day 10 of my bulk order sitting with the green check. Anyone know if the submission tier has any effect on the assembly to grade reveal stage? I would assume yes but idk what they’re even doing once that checkmark is received lol |

It took 43 business days to complete. I contacted PSA a couple of days ago to get an update, and they're offering me a voucher for the delay.

Ha! I just got a notification of an order that went into grading and all the preview images are upside down. Those really do nothing for me any way since they are all low res but I guess someone was just too lazy to fix them.

One day (lol) before my Estimated Completion date of 4/18...and my large bulk order just hit grading:
Type: December 16-31 Pokemon Holiday Special # of cards: 250 Shipped to PSA: 1/7/2025 Delivered: 1/10/2025 Order Prep: 2/7/2025 Research & ID: 2/7/2025 Grading: 4/17/2025 Assembly: Green Check Assembly: Grades Ready: QA: Shipped: Delivered: I received both a notifcation from the iOS app that my cards hit 'grading' and also an email at about the same time. Funnily enough, on the PSA site when I check "My Orders" it shows this submission as being in Assembly, but actually clicking on the order itself shows it in Grading and the app also shows Grading. ![]() It was just nice to be able to finally see the pre-grading scans of my cards after 13 weeks of PSA having them in their possession...and although it is literally at the 11th hour, it's nice to see PSA actually making an effort to get this large order to the Grading stage one day before estimated completion...I genuinely thought it was just going to blow right past that date and still be stuck in R&ID and that i'd have to reach out to support asking what's up... ![]() |

So, March Value plus got the green check yesterday, and my second bulk was finally moved into R&ID. It's about time for my first bulk to go into Grading... Like they say, "the watched pot never boils".

My youtube feed has had a few videos saying that pokemon pricing is going down. I don't follow that market, but if that's true then maybe that will help PSA speed up. Even if they just went back to the old "high" volume of 550k per month, that would free up a lot of capacity from where it's been lately.

Happened to me, reached out to them, received a canned response, then second reply was from an actual person.
