Of course he went to practice. I'm not sure why they decided to have it at the county park that has no lights.

They didn't even go until 8:30 and the last 5 hitters, I'm not sure how anyone in the field could see the baseball.

My Son played first yesterday and did a pretty good job of it again.

I quit baseball as a kid because my step/adoptive father wouldn't bring me to tryouts. My mother would have brought me but it was important to me that he did.

I was bullied as a kid. Specifically by "Tanny", Joe Tierney, who hung around my apartment complex I lived in. He was bigger that everyone and with hindsight being 20/20 he was very insecure.
Saw him about 10 years ago. Life was not kind to him

One tome we were playing tackle football at the local school Field and I received the kickoff. As I was running it back he (Tanny) came at me like a bull. I had been tackled very hard in the past by him so I decided to hurdle him. He didn't touch me and then his friends all picked on him. He is the reason I now always stand up for those who are bullied.

Once at my high school, Newman Prep, I was in the office just about this time of year when one of the workers was on the phone with a parent of a student from Africa. They were trying to explain how their child needed clothes for the upcoming winter season.

This is the reason I'm sure my Son never complains when my wife misses one of his games but he goes ballistic if I'm away on a trip and miss one.
