Another years-long buyer/seller on the service here whose Black Friday shipment home was originally scheduled for 12/27 to meet COMC's promotion promise ... and is now slated for two weeks later on 1/10.
I love COMC. It's by-far my favorite platform on which to buy cards for my collection and sell for fun. And I can wait for my cards. But companies can't make promises like this, blow through not only estimates but guarantees, and not be held accountable. It can't just be an "oopsie" and move on to the next promise without acknowledgement and compensation. Best in the new year to fellow COMCers! Paul |

So if you are buying from COMC Ebay auctions, pay attention to any unpaid item warnings even if you already paid. I got a warning about an unpaid item on Ebay, but I had already paid for the card on COMC. It looks like there was a bug in the COMC website that didn't report the item paid to Ebay. I ignored it because the item was paid for and in my COMC account.
Well, last night, all my Ebay snipes failed with the error "AUCTION RESTRICTED: BIDDER HAS UNPAID ITEMS", so that unpaid item got my Ebay account blocked from bidding. I had to contact Ebay support and get the unpaid item report removed from my account. Really annoying as I would have won about 10 auctions last night that I had my eye on from various sellers. |

Do they offer credits for missed deadlines? Mine was supposed to ship 12/28 and is now moved back to 1/12. It’s been in packaging since 12/4

On a positive note, my December sales were excellent. Third best month of the year despite normally being a slower month for me and 28% higher than the previous December despite every other month lower than the corresponding 2022 month. Helped by fresh inventory from the 35c summer submission special, but OTOH I had a bunch of fresh inventory from that in Sept, Oct, and Nov without it seeming to help all that much.
Hopefully a good sign for 2024 sales. Overall, my 2023 sales were 16% lower than 2022.

Cheapest grading service for non-auto now through PSA is $42.00 (20 days), so looks like they disabled the $24 option for now.
Card+autograph still has a 75 day option for $29.00.

They need to make their language uniform. Under shipment history, it still lists 12/28 as “ship date.” If you click the request number it says “estimated shipping date.” The pdf link says “target ship” and the packaging email says “expected shipping date.” A business with their stuff together uses one message, not 4. Regardless, if you miss the mark this poorly, there needs to be messaging to customers as others are saying.
Looking back at last year, my Economy shipment requested on 11/28/22 had a target ship date of 12/20 and was mailed 12/13 - so something happened this year where they couldn’t fulfill shipments like normal |

Everyone should be reaching out for the same, imo. It was clearly stated all orders would ship by a date as part of the Black Friday Special. Now not only was that promise not met but there’s the fact that all shipping requests moving forward for the next month or two will be severely delayed until COMC can catch up from November.

Anyone else having issues getting the cash out store credit page to work?? Been trying for an hour to cash out before 12am in order to receive funds by Friday but the link appears to be broken.

Agreed, apparently they use a third party that handles all of the PayPal cash out transactions. Still it shouldn’t take more than 2 business days. And of course the redeem store credit option is working right now. |

I ran a two day half price sale late last week that went pretty well. I used the funds to clear out some of my watch list.
COMC is way behind on shipments. My Black Friday week request was originally estimated for 12/28 and I thought that was optimistic. Then changed to 1/8, then 1/11, and now 1/13 which is a Saturday. I now have five shipment requests in totaling 568 cards. The most recent was on 12/30 and there are 490,067 items ahead of it. I'm skeptical it's gonna ship by 1/30. |

Most of my D2G sub that I sent as part of the August promo still hasn't come back to my port yet. They were slow to open the package due to the glut from that promo but even from the submitted date they show of 9/6 we are about to hit 4 months.
Generally not impressed with D2G service. Didn't like that they spread out my sub into multiple different subs of theirs so it comes back piecemeal. No transparency on order status. I understand PSA can run long but seems like a trend with their service vs. It's more of an occasional thing with my current group subber. |

Yes, and they don't combine cash outs so they wind up stealing $1.00 per extra cash out you make (under the threshold). It's almost like they slow pay you on purpose in order to get these extra $1.00s. Probably stolen tens of thousands over the years. Minimum.

Love the "improved" security and site features, along with the prompt and reasonable communication displayed by COMC. Good thing they've partnered up with eBay. ![]() |
