When I called the store to see if they had one, she had already said the Renegades book is not included. I didn’t even ask

Sounds like you have a bad store. Might want to see if the cashier knows it as well.
My cashier was quite happy to make the sale to me at my store.

On the E-Mail I got this morning it said: "†Valid on hardcover books in stock, in store only. Excludes Book of the Year The Lyrics. May not be combined with any other offer, coupon or standard member discount."

So yea, outside of the Paul McCartney Lyrics book (which is the 1 book I would have got with this discount) it should apply to everything including Renegades

Thank you OP.. picked up 3 books (Messier, Melo) B&N, but....... nothing worse than getting cut in front of the line knowingly I was standing there. Luckily they were teenagers, or I would of blew their gaskets. The customer service is one fine gentleman who tried to sell 2 books instead of 3 which I paid. I don't mind taking 2 instead of 3, but the csr insisted that I check my e-mail. I insisted you check the computer, he kind of resisted until I started checking my e-mail. Long story short, pickup what you paid for not what they give you.

my store said 50 percent off goes through tomorrow and I was able to get a signed messier for the 50 percent off from a store out of state plus the $4.99 shipping.

I took my family out to B&N this afternoon to check out the sale. Ironically everyone but me got a gift card for there. I picked up the Mena Suvari book, which is signed but does not have a sticker on the front. My daughter got the Chris Colfer and Melissa Benoist signed books.

This book just arrived and while it's a bookplate with a dried out marker, I'm just glad to have one. Also heard a lengthy interview with him on NPR, sounds like a geniunely awesome dude. May eventually read this one!

That is because most of them are really really bad! But for some reason I did enjoy reading The Rock's book and Anthony Bourdain's books. I speed read through most of them. Been busy lately so the last one I read was the dreadful Drew Barrymore cookbook....don't bother! I will read the Grohl one eventually or if there is an audiobook listen to it while I work.
