What would that put a 18 select gold Psa 10 field view at? Last one sold at 6000, but that was some obit ago.

The gold is steep imo. Not sure how much room that card has long term. Non rookie and PSA 9. He’s going to have another 15 years or prizm golds.

A lot of really really nice rookies you can buy for $50k. I don’t see a ton of upside at that price personally. PSA 10 would be a different story.

The NT /25 9.5 at $90k seems very low to me. A BGS 9 /99 did that before the season and weak two color 8.5 at mid 80s. I thought it would do substantially more.

Yep... been hearing this the whole way up about Mahomes and Brady Prizm Golds.

Anyone want to admit that the mantra of "Football only cares about rookie cards" can be put to rest?

That's because it didn't sell.

There was a reserve that was not met and the seller was playing games, listing it 3 times then canceling.

He should go ahead and send it to a consigner instead of listing his self.

I love golds, but a PSA 9 non rookie isn’t really that special imo. Give me a Cont gem or red power psa 10 17 or cracked ice horizontal all day of the week.

Going to be another 7 on average at that grade or higher over the next 15 years available. It doesn’t make sense for PM15 with what $50k still buys you.

We know you’re all about the golds, but it’s irrational to not look at what $50k still buys you in the mahomes rookie market.

Lol it was at a consignment... PC sports a very reputable seller was selling. I am guessing the owner wanted the reserve, but had nothing to do with PC.

Patch makes a huge difference on a card like this in addition to the grade. I would rather pay more for a BGS 8.5 with a nice three color patch and I am not the only one who thinks that way. I know few others who are only looking for a three color RPA in BGS 9 or 9.5 and they don't even care about a one or weak two color RPA even if it is a gem mint.

Sure, for the time being. Give me an old faithful Cont gem at the same price long term.

Many ways to make money in the hobby. Brady and Lebron make more sense because their quality rookie options are substantially higher priced than Pats.

If Pat stumbles that stuff will fall quicker than quality high end rookies at the same price point.

Sure, but still cheap given what the 9 did before the season. Gems on RPA’s are tough, let alone finding a good patch.

Agree on this....and we can't use $90k as the sales price because it didn't actually sell for that.

The seller handled it all wrong. Who is going to want to play games with a 6-figure purchase?
