Well, that was certainly a southern rendition of the national anthem.

Not true. Right now there is a definite path by which the SEC gets left out.

Please note that that "path" is not a likely one and I am not predicting it will happen, but the path is there.

College football fans have a really bad habit of "knowing" what will happen despite upsets being a common feature of the sport.

I love how literally no other team/conference gets the most leeway that the SEC does. Respected analysts out there saying it's not real world if no SEC team gets in.. It gets old. Alabama comes in ranked eighth and just because they beat Georgia means they should skip over the other teams and be in. I'm sorry nah...

Very thankful the Cowboys are choosing to start by throwing the ball rather than handing it to the nation's leading rusher.

The SEC-krishnas always fall back on history because, this year, they have to. Fortunately the PC only looks at this year and if we look exclusively at this year, there is no logical reason whatsoever UGA gets in if they lose, nor should Alabama jump Texas if they both win.

Reminds me of the Patriots' strategy in Super Bowl 20. They lost that game 46-10.

Everything going right for the Horns to start.

But we all know things never stay on script in college football.

Oklahoma State will get their shot at some point.

I mean, I would love to see the SEC on the outside looking in. It might even distract the four-letter network from Him Jarbaugh for a day or two, but I just don't see it happening.

Looks like we might be getting to see Prime Texas today.

(At least to start)

Or we see the officials ignore pass interference on Texas.

Neither are the officials ignoring pass interference and holding calls.

LOL!

If you think this game is being decided by the refs and not the stark talent difference, I don't know what to tell you bro.
