People are concerned with the # of cases not because the goal posts have moved but because at the rate they are increasing hospitals are being impacted in those areas.

Decisions have to made before hospitals run into issues, that is the challenge. # of cases is a leading indicator of what hospitals will be dealing with.

And this is why it's easy to support black people but not Black Lives Matter. They aren't the same thing, but often get conflated when it's convenient to make a point.

I've yet to be scared at all.
I think the thought that somehow we can prevent everyone from being exposed is unrealistic.
Positive cases doesn't bother me either as we're testing more and more positives should be expected, hospitalization and death rates are more important in my opinion.

The scary part - is what these people were saying (of course this clip is a clip and I am sure they used only the craziest people for it) - regardless - some people think this.

They haven't "seen" spikes because they are not contact tracing protesters. Just another reason to ignore all this nonsense because it's all political theater. I couldn't care less if they came out and said states had all of a sudden seen 10x the number of cases; I'm done being lied to.

I guess I would agree with his perspective on the hypocrisy side of things.

I lean towards peaceful protests that disrupt the system. Looting & violence is counter productive so I think his position on that is completely wrong. It is more harmful than helpful. Same way I felt about Trumps they loot we shoot comment.

At some point we need to have hard, honest, meaningful conversations about this stuff to move forward. People want to be heard, but they do not want to listen. It is a difficult gap to bridge.

I agree things need to change. I get what he is saying hypocrisy of things, but I think its a bit of a stretch on what he's comparing it with. It's things like his stance on violence that make it harder for the conversations to happen though because people quit listening and they miss what really needs to be listened to.

Michigan +11 Biden
Wisconsin +11 Biden
Pennsylvania +10 Biden
Florida +6 Biden
Arizona +7 Biden
North Carolina +9 Biden

Still early, but the margin in those top 3 states would have to be ENORMOUS to overcome at this point. Assuming the election breaks the same way, Trump needs Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan to go his way. Has Biden made up the 79,000 votes in those 3 states to take the election away from Trump? Probably, as of right now.
