![]() I've been picking up cards I like from this set and got my 2nd card in hand yesterday. I know it's been said with just about every card, but they really do look sharp in hand. Paid 3x what they are currently going for, but oh well, I love how this one looks. Picked up a Gwynn yesterday at auction, so fingers crossed that one comes. Oldmanalan might be my favorite artist in the set. I'm a fan of his style. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So this has been the craziest ride I’ve seen in collecting cards.... reminds me of the wax craze in the late ‘80s, but all rolled into like 10 days!
Are others getting the sense that prices are still falling significantly, or have things kind of stabilized (prices nowhere near the mania of last week, but still an overall improvement over where things were like 2 weeks ago)? I’d guess the latter but I haven’t been watching all of the cards this weekend- just a few I’ve been trying to pick up, that seem to have leveled off to some consistency. The way I figure it moving forward: -the high PR cards (80-100) are going to end up being ‘standard issues’ that everyone will have lying around and collecting dust (the Shore Griffey being like an ‘89 Donruss Griffey or ‘87 Canseco in your shoebox), you might just be able to get back the money you paid for them -cards 1-50 will still see some pretty good returns, especially 1-20, but I don’t think it’s gonna get crazy again like last weekend -except for a few outliers here and there, I’d guess that future PRs will be mostly in the 15-20K range. still decent for flippers but not insane (3-4x the original price), but also still attractive for set-builders (whether you’re going for all 400 cards, or certain player/artist sets), or people who want to pick up some cool cards but just missed out while sales were live. That’s my guess anyway. |

I haven't caught all the way up but heard Baller had his auction pulled on Ebay that was for charity. What was the card and why did it get pulled?

Semi seriously contemplating a book effort on this project. I’ve written two books, never published, that my friends and family seemed to enjoy.
Think there would be an audience? I’m not kidding. This has everything. |

Only if you put Crying Griffey on the cover and it comes with a sneaker pump. I have ADHD so having something to pump while reading would be really helpful. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I wonder if topps has thought ahead to having some of these turned into t-shirts and other merch.
