Yup! I haven’t busted open a pack or hobby box since 2012 when I was chasing that stupid Andrew luck contenders rookie auto everyone was high on.

Then again boxes were like $60 haha

I never did pull one. I might buy one for the heck of it though now that I think about, 12 years later

$39.99 + tax and shipping for a Chrome blaster from Fanatics. The product was printed to the moon and back with a huge checklist. The odds are a losers game for the price.

A box of 2024 Tier One would cost me $300 + tax and shipping (which is not something I would ever rip these days). Tier One boxes have 1 base card per $300 spent and a 100 card checklist. The Tier One Ohtani I posted earlier is a Silver Foil /99 and falls 1:11 boxes. That slab cost someone $22 bucks too. I paid $34.99.

Way better value than 7 packs of retail junk and the snowballs chance in hell of pulling a $2 RayWave Aqua Refractor Auto of a pitcher who is already out of the league.

End of rant.
