A nice round number. It would have been nice to get to 40 but his elbow injury really took his power away for a full month.

For all the regular season greatness Harper has exhibited in his career, he’s even more of a beast in the postseason. I’m hopeful he can help push the Phillies to a WS win this year. If my local team can’t get there on any given year, I’m pulling for the Phil’s.

Harper keeps doing his thing in the playoffs. It’s great to see a superstar shine when the post season arrives. He goes to Philly with the intent on leading his team not only in the regular season but onward and has lived up to his contract. Some great players are nowhere in the playoffs and others disappear when in the playoffs. That is a tough task to shoulder with that extra burden of pressure but he has performed.

If not mistaken, Bryce Harper is 5th All Time in Post Season WPA at 2.64. Pujols is 4th with a 2.97. I’m not 100% vested into WPA because I believe scoring first should have more significance but there is some bearing into it.
