The Everglades are actually quite beautiful.

Getting there without getting into a car accident with Saraste and the rest of his drag racers down there is another story.

That has really become a problem lately, between online orders, in store customers and people just placing to go orders it can take forever.

When I was stationed in Homestead, FL, our site we worked at was in the Everglades.

So, remember when I put in applications for all of those IRS positions and one came back "not qualified?" Well, today, I had an e-mail from the IRS offering me a GG-15 Step 1 position ($3200 raise over what I make now) in their Cybersecurity Department. No interview, no job description. It had the work hours and place of work and the steps I need to take to onboard which will take 4 - 6 weeks.

There was a name on the cc line, so since one of my friends works in IT at the IRS, I called him up today and that name was in fact the SES in charge of Cybersecurity. I think on Monday, I'm going to e-mail him and ask some specific questions about the position.

I am more than likely not going to take it though. So far, the cons outweigh the pros.

Oh Government employees get tons of vacation and sick time. And don't forget that free vacation when the idiots in Congress can't come sign a budget and the Government closes. Free vacation as you always get the back pay when the budget is eventually signed.

I have to take my car in for it's oil change and mileage checkup. I'll have them take me out of the database for the recall too.

It should be a quiet day as my wife and Son are going out to a bunch of yard sales with my middle SD and granddaughter.

I'll go down to the firehouse too and pick up my new shirts and get the call numbers for May to post.
