I can confirm that DeGrom and Durant did not sell for 0.99, not sure why it's showing that.

Just asked and seems they're indeed placeholders. No way to go back and watch right? Just tuning in.

Thanks guys.

The DeGrom sold for like $16. I had a few bids in on it.

Ya, was gonna say the degrom went around 16, don't remember the durant. There will be a replay once it's over, but not sure if it will show how much it went for.

It started with a bunch of Trea Turner, but yes lots of Zach Wilson. I have no idea how they decided which cards to run tonight. I feel like there has to be better cards that were skipped. Like why that Ortiz card?

should we buy all the harper and judge coin cards on comc.com and submit them to the live auction?

No guarantee the same fish will be watching the next time. Looks like the easy money was mostly burned out now.

For sure, the prices are coming back to reality now for some items.

They're loading up the next round of cards to sell tonight, but I'm going to buy out. My eardrums can't take it anymore.

Sound off is your friend. Especially when the cards are pre-loaded and you can see what is coming.

Clowns bidding on the Ebay Live. 2825 viewers right now. Probstein averages around 800 viewers. $1.50 golf auto went for $40 but $40 cards go for $20, LOL. These guys are bidding $2 1990s Jordan raw cards up to $30. Household names like Jordan, Griffey Jr., Kobe, Brady, etc. do well. That's true of all the feeds I've watched though. People pay too much for big name commons and low grade PSA 90s stuff. Also, bidders don't seem to know much about 1950s-60s raw vintage and pay too much for low grade HOFers.

PSA 6 1989 Donruss Griffey Jr. went for $21.99 . You can buy the same card on COMC right now for $13. PSA 8 for $15.

So many cards selling for more than the same cards are listed on COMC for.

I've bought a few cards for decent prices but not as big of names.

I've gotten much better deals on Probstein's live. I got a $450 MTG booster box for $220.

It's the job of the host to talk up every card and act like the bidder got an awesome deal no matter how much the cards sell for. Most hosts will cry about how you're stealing cards from them even though they are selling way above Ebay comps. I watch the coin streams and buy gold and silver coins, but only when they are below Ebay comps. You might have to sit through 50 auctions to grab a couple deals, but as long as they aren't selling 50 of the same coin, I like seeing them.

For nonsports fans, Probstein sold a Wal-Mart 90s Marvel Masterpieces box for around $100 below Ebay comps on their live. It would have got $200 more on their normal auctions.

Anthony Rendon auto for $0.99? Was that Ohtani that went for $150 like a $2 card? Have it in background and has me puzzled.

LOL, yah, I even pointed it out in chat. Not the first time tonight people have paid crazy prices for cards that are way cheaper on COMC.

I wonder if these crazy price auctions will actually get paid for.

A $100 CMC auto for $300 right after. For 2,800 viewers it seems like it's the same handful of bidders being at the top of every single item.

Indeed. Wondering how much of these ridiculous ones are going to get paid for.

It's no different than normal Ebay auctions though. I've sent cards to COMC auctions and some $20 cards go for $1 and I've had $1 cards go for $20. You just need 2 people to have interest in something. So unpredictable. That's why i mostly stick to buy-it-now. It's kind of like gambling, which I imagine is why some people like selling at auction. That chance of getting more than they might have with buy it now.

I'd wager there will be a lot of unpaid items in these COMC "Live" auctions if there is not an automatic payment processed for each winning bid.

Some of prices make zero sense other than a few idiots running up prices for no reason. I think some bidders are just in there to bid like it is a game - they have no real intention on paying.

Going to need a way to block those 30 for 1 trade deals

My understanding is that, not only will it be an optional feature, but it will also be an optional website. The old version of COMC.com will still exist and people can use it if they choose.

With Ebay Llive being in beta, one seller said that if a seller files a non-paying bidder complaint against a bidder, they are banned from Live. So it sounds like Ebay is being more strict with Live than their normal auctions, at least for now.

Is there a way to list just one specific category of cards for sale on COMC?? Thanks in advance for any guidance.
